SO I'm bored sitting at home and awaiting my doctor's appointment so I figured I'd let you guys see some of the dress rejects haha.. I look like a hot mess in these pictures.. I was just getting over being sick.
So enjoy! ha. This is also the day my mother got fired from taking pictures..

This little number was probably the most unflattering one I tried on at all. ha. Look at how I look in the torso? Blech.

I LOVED the fabric of the dress and the top of it. It was so super elegant. But the bottom was way too frilly and girlie for me. lol

My lace dress. ha. This is one that always came up in my mind but I never LOVED it or was able to commit. The train is on the side of me instead of the back. But there was always just something missing? Casablance 1995

This was my mom's favorite. It was a gorgeous dress. It's Victoriana by Maggie Sottero. She took PLENTY of pictures of this one. But I wasn't in LOVE with it. It was a normal ordinary ballgown I had seen plenty of DISbrides & others in..​

So my mom got fired that day from picture duty and that's when I decided to bring my MOH to the next store. The reason is because of the last dress. lol. I get home and notice she only took really good pictures of the dress that SHE liked. lol. Didn't matter what I liked. But the other dresses that were pretty she didn't take good pics of. ha. OhHhhhhh Mom! lol She's lucky I love her!



Andddd on another note.. look at the babies that I just ordered yesterday and are on their way!!!

So I figured I'd let you enjoy those pictures. hehe. And have a laugh or two. ;D

Girl if you make these dresses look good- I can't imagine what you look like in YOUR DRESS!! I think you made the right choice! Did you get a chance to go try it on again??

Yes it definitely does make me feel a LOT better about myself in my dress. (I still have pictures of me in MY dress, but nobodies allowed to see them ) Hehe. I didn't get to try it on again yet, no. But I'm going to try and do it next week maybe? We'll see. Or soon at least. hehe.

Yes, I did fire her. The consultants at the salon thought it was hysterical. I kept telling her she was FIRED! Then when we went where I got MY dress, I told her to drop the camera and give it to my MOH.
I fired her from something else the other day too? But can't remember what. She's like oh man what else is new! haha.

Soooo excited they'll be here in time for the engagement pics! The pictures are gunna be AWESOMEEEEE!

Sorry mama you're going to have to wait until October 6, 2012 to see me in that baby! Nobodies seeing me in the dress until the day of the wedding. The only person who will see me in it is my mother, maid of honor, and possibly my father if he decides to go with me for the fitting.

First I'd like to say.. Happy Valentine's Day to all my loverly DISfriends!

And now onto the good stuff..
So Sunday Dave decided to call our jeweler to see if the castings were in of my bands so that I could try them on with my engagement ring to see if they matched properly. Much to our surprise.. the jeweler said the bands were already done and we could come in to see them and either pay a little bit more of the balance or the entire thing!

So of course we had to get in the car immediately and drive on our there to check out my bling! Ha. I couldn't wait! I had no idea what they were going to look like but I was super excited to see Dave wearing his cause his ring is just GORGEOUS! And of course.. as promised.. here is some pictures of our bands! I'm so in love with them, I can't wait to wear them! But now I have to wait a year and 7 months til I can wear them again.

And of course me WEARING mine.. woohoo! They're soo pretty. Please excuse my man hands.. haha. I had to sneak the pics!

And today's Valentine's day.. Dave said he can't wait to give me my gift so I'm super excited! I saw the boxes but I'm literally CLUELESS as to what in the hell they could be?! Weeee, can't wait!

On a sad note.. I went out to check our pond out in the backyard today.. and all of our little fishies are dead. I'm really bummed. All of the fishes are actually fishes from my grandfather's pond at his house, my uncle had given them to us after gramps passed away 2 years ago. I'm really upset. I got my favorite fish from his pond and now he's dead. He was a gorgeous white and orange butterly koi.. poor fishes. But now gramps has them up in heaven with him. RIP fishies. <3

Moving on, your rings are gorgeous!!!! Ok, this is a dumb question and maybe you answered it earlier but, why two bands? This is coming from a girl who doesn't even have one band so I'm not sure the significance (other than, ooooooh it's so sparkly I think I shall have two of them! )

Do you think they're too much? I just love the extra bling and I feel like it makes it super different too!!
And my birth stone is a diamond too!

I agree that they are very beautiful. And, I also had the "oh, it's sparkly!" thought when I saw them. I think bracing the ring is a good idea, and I think they fit it beautifully. IMHO, if you want two, get two!
