David’s dvc exchange points for cruise

Anyone use David’s dvc for cruise. He advertises exchanging dvc points for cruises, being cheaper than just cruising for points. I have sold points through him before with no problems. I am looking to exchange points for cost of cruise and spending money. Are the prices of his cruises better than if I do all this myself?

If they are acting as a DCL approved travel agent, they must price the cruise at the same rate as direct from DCL.

It looks like David is taking your points and renting them at $16-18 then just paying cash for the cruise. You could do the same as cash prices for a cruise typically are the equivalent to $7-8 a point.

If you are comfortable renting out yourself I would just do that, as you can then book via a travel agent and get an on board credit.

According to David's site you also get on board credits using his service.
