I'm listening to Dave's coverage of World of Color and cracking up at the thought of him tackling all of these celebrities. You're awesome, Dave! Great work!

He only really tackled one of the celebrities.

Dave: "Tom, did you want to say hello?"
Tom: "Hello."
LMAO
I asked him why he didn't edit that out. He said, "I wanted everyone to know that you were there too". Thanks Dave.![]()

I would have loved to hear from him a little more of a review of the show itself. I know his job is to get the great interviews, but it would have been a perfect oportunity to tell us what he actually thought of the actual show itself.

There have actually been quite a few blog reviews about the show itself. I think that's why. Have you checked those out yet?
I've been meaning to reply to this for a while Nikki, but I got buried doing other things. I just had to say you made my day. Thank you so much. I'm glad you liked it.I'm listening to Dave's coverage of World of Color and cracking up at the thought of him tackling all of these celebrities. You're awesome, Dave! Great work!![]()
Thanks Jamie. The music was recorded right from the World Premiere of World of Color. I had my audio recorder running during the show. You would think DCA would put out a CD with the music.Amen Nikki, Dave is a great interviewer also I wouldnt mind a copy of the music I Love it![]()
Thanks so much.Dave seems to have a very unique interviewing style.
It's very disarming. It's easy for people to let their guard down around him, and that, of course, is exactly what you want in a reporter.
Great job, Dave !![]()
This is a lesson I learned a long time ago. I always appreciated it when my advisors and mentors would point out my work and give me credit for things I did - and I've always tried to adopt that with things I've done. Tom and I were a team covering the event, and I only wish Tom got more exposure during the segment. I wouldn't have been able to do it if it weren't for Tom getting the original invite and taking all the pictures. Not only is he a great guy he gives credit where it is due!!
I agree.. Great Job as always Dave!!!
Yup, Tom was in charge of writing up the review of the show. He did a great job, and included it in two different articles. Check them out on the blog.I would have loved to hear from him a little more of a review of the show itself. Thanks again. I really thought the music would help since that piece was a series of interviews. I wanted to try to break things up so people would know when one interview stopped and the next started. All the music was recorded from the World of Color show I watched. Did people notice the music before and after an interview was from segments they mentioned while they were talking? And for the record, I think it's great that he puts in music before and after his interviews.
It sets the mood.

I don't mind at all. I like it when they give me a hard time. My favorite segment they've ever played is still "Disney... on Ice!"Wish he didn't give you a hard time about the music.
