My daughter made it first year from the eastern mass division, she is a junior midget small. We had the choice whether or not to stay with our children paying $800 per person. But if you start to add everything up it comes to more than that so we went that way. Besides I couldnt imagine not staying with her its a once in a lifetime shot and I cant wait.

Congratulations to your daughter!

Can I ask what competition your daughter made it in?? I'm clueless!

But congratulations to her and have a great trip!

Talking about Pop Warner Cheer Nationals? My daughter made it, too! Jr. Midget Large Division...can't wait!

Yes the cheerleadering in the nationals at disney, were from dracut mass the eastern division.Suppose I need to add a new counter now 6 days and waiting.

Congratulations to your daughter and her team!

My daughter competed at New England Regionals too - Pee Wee Large. We placed 3rd, so we won't be making the WDW trip this year. Last yr we were 4th, so I told the team next year has to be 2nd!:smooth:

Best of luck at the competition and have a wonderful, magical trip!::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

pebbss, your team is the Middies, right? We were at Verizon, too! My daughter is a Falcon (Jr. Midget Large) What a great job your daughter's team did!

Did you get a hotel assignment yet? We are in one of the All Stars, but that is all we know.

sharoncity, I love your statistical analysis! Next year will be YOUR year, I can tell!

Yes were at the all star movies, we leave wed how bout you. They cant wait , but then again neither can I. I'm a bouncing with happy, especially with all this snow, I told some friends I might just get lost and miss the plane coming back.:Pinkbounc :bounce:

We leave Wednesday, too! Don't forget the uniform sneakers! I had everything packed...then I remembered...curlers and sneakers! The frumpy old Vans would NOT have made a good impression! Good luck to the Middies! See you there!

Sharoncity --- don't tell them you want second -- tell them you want first. They need to start thinking like winners not second placers if they want to make it to the podium.

Thanks Renee - Believe me, the second place is ME talking! All I heard from them for the four weeks leading up to New England was "Not IF we go to Florida, its WHEN we go". They truly had an A+ attitude going into that thing. It was SO evident in their smiles and bounce. We had one very small error, lost a .5 deduction and missed 2nd place by .16! How's that for close! We'll see everyone in Florida next year for sure!::MinnieMo

sharoncity -- I know what you mean Kids always seem to have more drive than I can ever think of. I'm sure they get to the top.

Well my daughter made it 2nd place in nationals, so awesome the first time this team ever went this far, so were very proud. I now know what people mean when they were talking about the teams acting up at the resorts. We had a problem with a couple girls in our group that the parents were not watching, but other than that if they had supervision it was great. However there were a group of football players that were on the same floor as us at all star movies and they decided to try to pick up our girls. Not just during the day but they would call the rooms at all hours of the night, run by banging on doors , it was just wonderful:mad: , I'm curious where those chaperones were because i never saw them with any of the boys. I guess it all depends on the people whose resposability it is to be watching them. But other than that great mini vaca, proud of the daughter and a happy mom.

Our team placed seventh in Jr. Midget large and we were so happy.... how about that "Superbowl Party" on Friday night with the FREE FOOD!!!!! We felt like VIPS! We, too, were in ASMo, in Love Bug, and there was only one group of girls who would cheer "after hours." I think it does depend on the coaches/chaperones/parents how the kids behave. Our girls had a curfew the night before the competition and knew they were representing the team at all times, so no monkeybusiness...

Congratulations on your daughter's win! Second in the nation! A real achievement!
