Daughter In A Boot

Years back my daughter broke her ankle just before going to Universal for the weekend. She was on crutches, my husband was healing from knee surgery and on crutches. When we went to the park, he stayed at the pool and I got a wheelchair for her.

You still have to get through the airports...

Oh, yes, if you’re flying and haven’t already done so, you need to call your airline and request wheelchair assistance. You’ll never make it through an airport of any size without it, especially MCO. Bring cash to tip the skycaps,

My daughter broke her ankle a few days before going to Disney, she ended up in a cast and we used a wheelchair for her. It wasn’t too bad pushing her around, but if you are going on FOP, that line is an uphill beast pushing someone in a wheelchair. I got my workout in for sure. All of the cast members were amazing and it was one of the most magical trips we went on.

I agree on the FOP queue being uphill. When we were there in Jan 2020, I was the one pushing my disabled son-in-law around all day and he's 100 pounds heavier than me. DH couldn't push because of a hernia and DD was pregnant. I really got my workout in that day but managed just fine.
