We went to Disney early Dec. and stayed at the Poly. Did all the Disney fun stuff like Princess tea etc and on the next to last day my 4 year old daughter wanted to do Peter pan again. We went on and as we were trying to get off a disabled man who needed a oxygen tank was trying to get on. Their was a cast member trying to help him get into our cart who should not have been the one to help him as she was overwhelmed by him. I was finally able to sneak out with my 1 year old son and my wife started to disembark. She had one foot out the door and one foot in the ship. My 4 year old daughter started getting up and since we were 4 lengths to the end they stopped the ride with no notice. My wife got several black and blues and my daughter banged her head and jammed her hand. All we got from the ride operator was sorry but we had to do it. No apology about my daughters injury nothing! We finally asked for a manager and came about 20 minutes later. One of the first things he did was to yank the cast member off the ride as were trying to get her name and told her to go in the back. Never once did he introduce himself or anything. The best he said was do you want ice?? When I asked how come no notice was given he said they only stop the rides in dire circumstnaces. I asked what was so dire that they had to stop it at that point?? Got no answer. Finally asked to fill out a accident report and they brought over the area manager for the land. She took out a piece of loosleaf paper (must be saving on the expenses) and tried to get our name off the stroller like it was a big deal. I told her I would be more than happy to give it to her. Again no one said they were sorry nothing. All we got were we are not finished yet, so I said tell me something and Shannon I believe her name was said she is not done. After 10 minutes of her we finally left. She did offer to get us to meet the princesses but can't anyone say their sorry or are they just afraid of lawsuits. I have so far written three letters to Disney and nobody has replied or even called to check on the condition of my daughter. I gave them my cell phone for the remainder of the stay and like I said nobody seems to care. Is this what Disney has come to???
I think during our Christmas trip this happened: My sister and dad were going to go on Peter Pan while my mom and I did some shopping around that area. Anyway, when they got on their little ship thing, their lap bar didn't go down. It must be something with the Peter Pan ride! There should have been a warning if the CMs were going to stop the ride, especially once they saw a person in that condition trying to board.
