Can anyone give me some information about the Daufuskie Island tours offered through the Disney resort? What does it include? What is the price? Is there a member discount? Thanks!
I have no info regarding the Disney aspect of this question, OP. Sorry.
But back in the 90's, I did take a tour of the island and found it interesting because I had read the book "The Water is Wide" by Pat Conroy. It explores his experiences teaching the Gullah students on the island. If I hadn't read that, I probably wouldn't have appreciated the tour so much. It is quite primitive.
We stayed there in November of 2013, 2014, & 2015 and I don't ever recall seeing that they offered a tour to Daufuskie. They do a dolphin cruise and some fishing and nature excursions but I think that is it. There are a couple of tour options on the island for Daufuskie and a ferry I think. We always mean to go and never get the time. Next time though. Hopefully.
