They're usually announced over the summer, but if you take a look at the Universal park hours calendar for the end of September and October, any day you see the park closing at 5:00pm is essentially a Halloween Horror Night.![]()
Very good info on that one-obvious i didnt think about that- but good!!
Good to see you posting again Anthony(nerdboyrockstar)!!!!
HHN is a hard ticket event which means everyone must have a separate ticket to enter...even passholders. But...since you have the Season Pass, you might be able to get discounts off the tickets...I'm not 100% sure since I'm not familiar with that pass.I also had a question regarding HHN?
I bought the Mardi Gras annual pass ( w/ blockout dates ) , but the HHN aren't blocked out.
Does this mean i can still go to the park but only until 5 pm?
Would i have to pay for an additional park ticket if i wished to stay?
I've never been to HHN and i kinda wanted to go this year
thanks
I just checked the Universal website & it has sept 25 and 26th as closing at 5PM. How likely is it that those days will be HHN's as well ? What were the dates for last year ?
We want to book at Disney next week for the FD but the main reason we are going is for HHN's. I just want to make sure that I book the right dates
Thanks again !
How much are the tickets for the HHN?
the dates and prices will be released by universal by early summer.
those of us that have gone in the past years, have seen different rates.
hard to say what the cost will be this year.
This will be my 9th year in a row for hhn and i'm hoping it won't cost an arm and a leg again this year......![]()
if you book a package at disney and don't cancel by 45 days out, you lose $100 of the deposit.
they have a sliding scale on the penalties. it is listed onthe disney site.
if you have a ressie at the on site universal hotels, you have to cancel by 5 days out of the date of arrival for no penalties.
you can change dates on a UO hotel ressie and keep the same conf # if you are keeping a room booking a room only. same goes for packages you might have booked.
only issue is for UO hotels, rooms book up in september and you might have a difficult time getting a room or getting an affordable room if you switch mid september.
for disney, you can switch dates also provided a room is available just like a universal booking.
i stay at disney resorts and universal resorts each year.
policies are listed on the booking site for universal.
same for disney, policy is stated on cancellations too.
if you add up all the dates for hhn this year, it should be the same as the last few if they include the end of sept.
it's probably a safe bet to say it will include them.
According to the calendar on the UO website, there will be 2 fewer HHN nights than last year.
Still, there's plenty of nights to go![]()
Yeah...it was Saturday November 1st.
now last year we had a nov date didn't they?
Oh okay, thank you! I am a chicken .... it looks very scary to me! My husband really wants to go though so I'm thinking about surprising him and getting the tickets. He might have to do the haunted houses by himself though!![]()
Since you have an AP, you can get hard tickets and do Stay and Scream. It's amazing how much you can get done being in the park early like that. They usually open a couple of the houses that you can get done before the GP hits.Does this mean i can still go to the park but only until 5 pm?
Would i have to pay for an additional park ticket if i wished to stay?
