Date to book at Poly Villas

I've found 2 different dates for the start of booking at Poly - Feb 11 and Feb 25th. Does anyone know the correct date? I'm a DVC member but not at Poly, does that make a difference?

2/11 is for members that own at PVB
2/25 is for members that don't own at PVB

I was thinking about non-DVC owners wanting to book rack rates, but after seeing the prices I doubt that will happen Plus they can just stay in original Poly rooms. Basically I wasn't thinking everything through

I thought that's what you might have meant. Not sure if that's been announced.

I got different information from my guide:

-existing members who add on at the Poly can make reservations starting Feb 9. (obviously 11 month window applies)

-New DVC memners who bought Poly will be able to start making reservations 1 week later (15 or 16th) (obviously 11 month window applies)

-The entire DVC membership will be able to make reservations 1 week after that (23rd or so) Obviously the 7 month window applies here.

Sorry I do not remember the EXACT dates, but each window was being delayed by a week.

Also, the first available UY is June of 2014.

The replies from a 'Community Manager' to the Member Sales posting on the member website says what I posted in Post #2. DVCNews.com is also reporting just 2 booking dates.

I thought I read somewhere that cash guests can book Feb 11. Keep in mind those rooms come from a separate inventory. They declared 140 studios & 10 bungalows for points to start.

I want to try the poly in may(if I can get a room for a couple of nights)...but I'm afraid the mail pool won't be open. Anyone know when it might be done? All they say is spring 2015...very very vague.i can't imagine they would open April 1 and not have it done?

It is possible I was misinformed. However the VGF had a different structure.
Existing members(who bought VGF) were able to book prior to new members who bought VGF.

New VGF members were allowed to book on 6/23/13. So were existing DVC members, but existing(non VGF) members were restricted to a 4 month window the until january, so in reality, they could only book on 6/23 for the opening week.

Of course, that does not mean the poly would follow a similar structure.

There is a lot of conflicting information on this. I don't think there is any guaranteed date.

Some say it's ahead of schedule.
Others say it's behind schedule.

DVC is not going to announce an opening date if they aren't 100% certain it's going to open on that date.

Is there a main Poly thread? I can't seem to find one. I don't want to buy but those master threads pull a lot of information together.

Does anyone know if the studios will be ready when the resort opens, or it it just the bungalows?
