Date Changes/Placeholders

Can a sail date change be done online? I have a placeholder which I will likely use for a sailing that is not open to book. I’m just wondering if I’d be better off calling to confirm the placeholder on a random sailing ahead of time and then changing the date once bookings open up. Or will I have to call to change the date regardless?

If you have a placeholder why do you feel the need to book a sailing that you will not actually go on? Why not wait for the one that you want?

You can no longer change sail dates on your own on the DCL website, so you’ll have to call in either way.

Don’t do anything now. It will not save you any phone calls later. Just call them when you know what sailing you actually want to book.

No, we used a placeholder and couldn't change the date online. The problem is that the website can't calculate your discounted price, you need an agent to do that so it won't save you a call!
