Data ports in VBR... (use of laptops)

My husband, 6 month old daughter and I are going to Vero Beach Resort on June 4th and stay till the 13th.

Our current question is about the use of our laptop in our villa. We are both taking online college courses and will be needing to do some work while we are there.

Does anyone have info on that?

I used my laptop at VB just last week. We were there the 19th - 23rd.
It is only a .35 cent local phone charge. As long as you don't loose the connection. I didn't have any problems. But I use earthlink and haven't had a problem loosing connection since changing from AOL.
You will have to use 9 - then 1 then the area code though. I thought it would be long distance but it wasn't.

I had to find the local access # for earthlink, through a 800 # buy setting up the laptop to use a 8 to get the dial tone.

Seems more complicated than it really is.
