Dasani Girl is back! With a baby, pregnant & pics! it's an update, no lie!! 7/20

Well here we are again. Time to go back and take the rugrat. It's going to be interesting to say the least.

For those of you who don't know, let me introduce the cast of this whirlwind trip.

Me - Heather. The mommy, the wife, the planner. The picture taker.

Him - Darren. The daddy, the husband, the thrill seeker. He does the big rides, I'm too chicken!

Them - Darren's parents. The grandma and grandpa. They love Disney too, but they're going mostly for this little booger.

Baby - Brayden. My love. He already LOVES Mickey Mouse so I can't wait to see how he likes meeting him. We'll most likely be in line for characters while Darren rides the big rides.

This trip is exciting for a few different reasons. Brayden's first trip. Our first trip with my Nikon D60! I hope I can get some really good pics. I hope I have time to take pics at all! lol

I have an Iphone now, so I can do little updates during the trip.

I'll be back soon with the plans and dates! Gotta get little man down for a nap.

Did you see how the weather has been in Florida lately? I really hope it warms up at least a little before the end of the month!

Plans, plans, plans. Ok, so a few months ago I was trying to talk Darren into going to Disney. He said we really couldn't fit it in, Brayden was too young (psshh! never too young for Disney!), etc.

So I gave up.

Then one day I was in the bathroom putting my make-up on and I had my phone playing MouseWorld radio. Darren walked in while Splash Mountain was on. Well, guess what? NOW he wants to go to Disney. All my begging and all I had to do was play a ride song! (I'll remember this for next time lol)

So we looked into the deals and everything and decided to use the 40% room discount and stay in Caribbean Beach. I'm so excited because we've never stayed in a moderate.

We're going for only 5 days though (I wanted a week, but I'll take what I can get lol) from January 29th-February 2nd. We will be driving down, not flying. This girl doesn't fly

So as of today we only have 19 days to go!!

BTW, Darren is really bummed that Splash Mountain will be closed (I wasn't planning to ride this time anyway). Living With the Land will also be closed, so that's one ride Brayden won't be able to ride. I'm going to list all of the ones I think he can go on soon. Anyone that has gone with a 10 month old, feel free to give me tips!

Hi Heather!

I've sort of been a lurker on your other reports...actually I think I might have posted once a long time ago. Anyway, just signing on because I can't wait to hear about Brayden's first trip to see Mickey! I'm staying at CBR this weekend....my first time since I was in high school over 10 years ago. My mom and I are taking my niece and nephew to celebrate their birthdays which are both this week. I'll try to give a little report on the resort when I get back if you like.

When my niece was 9 months old, we all went to Epcot. She went on most of the slower rides - the Land, spaceship earth, figment, mexico. She seemed to like them. I'd probably start with the shorter rides and go from there. Oh and Nemo! That's a cute, slow ride. Are you doing any character meals?
