DAS video call

Hey all! So is it for sure that for DAS the child has to be on the video call? Just wondering if there’s a way around it for the 30 days advanced version, or not. If not, we can just surprise the kids with the trip 30 days in advance versus the day before I suppose!

You can always request DAS when you get to the parks. You need to go to guest services

Yes, the DAS-holder (of any age) must be present on the video chat, or at least able to join the chat for a few minutes. Otherwise, you can obtain DAS in the park as usual.

If you do it while they are asleep, you just need to wake them up to take the picture. They won’t have any idea what you’re doing. Had to wake my son up at about 4:45 this morning (we’re on the west coast) just to take his picture (although he did know why). He promptly fell right back asleep.
