DAS still needed with FP+

To those of you who have utilized the DAC with the new FP+ system, do you still feel the DAC is needed? We've used the Guest Assistance Card on our last 2 trips for our son on the spectrum and found it very helpful in having a separate waiting space for the shows (our child can wait in a line, but melts down with large crowds of people surrounding him). I'm wondering if, with the ability to preschedule 3 FP's and add up to 3 more, you still think it's needed. We'll be at WDW again for 2 weeks in February. Thanks!

I personally think it is/was still very necessary for us. Our son is HFA, and we used the card about 12-15 times during our last 4 day trip. It's nice to have it handy when it's needed.

I think you'll get varying responses. From what I've read, some people find the FP+ works out best and they have only used the DAS a few times over the course of a week (maybe once or twice a day), while others like PP are using the DAS quite a bit more.

Enjoy your vacation!

Thanks! I guess we'll get it just in case.
