DAS party members-Friends and Family?

When you have others meeting you at the parks, do you have to have them added to the DAS specifically by Guest Relations, or if they are linked in Friends and Family on MDE they will appear as guest options to select as part of the 5 guest a DAS holder can choose to accompany them on the attraction?
For example my family of 4 is traveling and has DAS.. My sister's family is joining us at the parks a few days. Do I need to have her family added by guest relations to the DAS or they will be listed automatically when going to select riders since they are linked to me and have tickets/park reservations.

You will need to have them added to your DAS if they were not part of the group when you originally set it up. For my March trip, I was pre-approved for the DAS and it added myself and my friends (who were only there half the days i was), but my Mom was not included as an option because she was not on the trip.

Gor general use, any of your friends and family that show up on your app ,you're able to choose any of them for each attraction,(you and 5 others of your choice) and as far as I know, in park choices don't require adding anyone on at Guest services. Mine showed automatically,everyone who I was traveling with and in the same park.
