Just got denied for an upcoming trip, after having been consistently approved since covid.
I explained that with my disability I can't walk to say, Slinky Dog without knowing that the line itself will be short, and was given the return to queue or wait outside the line at the discretion of the cast member option. I mentioned that if my wife is then in line, I won't have anyone to provide care should I need it, but it was made super clear that
DAS is meant only for specific developmental disabilities.
The cast member was very sweet, and also clearly had a script to use. I was given an email if I have feedback, but no supervisor option. We're annual passholders and while I still plan to vacation at Disney to take advantage of the resort amenities, I am less likely to continue with my annual pass due to my likelihood of not being able to enjoy attractions. The new Fastpass system also doesn't meet my needs as my condition is variable and I can't be sure until the day of (or hour of) how I'll be feeling. If an option was added to get a refund if a day isn't used I would be more enthusiastic about that option.
