DAS and rider swap

What if one adult member of a party has DAS and there is child under the height restriction for many attractions. Will all adults in the party be able to ride despite having to wait it out with the small child while the other 2 Adults ride? For example-say I have DAS; can my husband and I ride while my parents wait with my 2 year old. Will my parents then be able to ride while we watch my 2year old?

Take the whole family to the ride entrance at your return time, ask for a rider swap, then ride with your DAS while the others wait.
