Das advance selection question

So we did our advanced selections this morning (the registering process was a breeze). So our group is a group of 9 with 2 das holders. We were unable to get slinky dog for our whole party but we’re able to for 4 people. The people whole were put on for slinky dog, though, aren’t the people who must ride it (example my mom is on slinky dog but my daughter isn’t).
Do we need to go to the blue tents to get the people changed around or is it an issue?

Are you saying they didn't put one of the people with DAS as one of the Slinky Dog riders? If so, you won't be able to use that selection. Go back online and get them to fix that for you. If there is one DAS holder in the group, and you just want your daughter to ride instead of your mom (neither being the DAS holder) then just have daughter use your mom's magic band or ticket to access that attraction.

I assume that you are saying that the four people added to the Slinky pre-selection, do include the DAS holder (it would have to) but don’t include some of the people that really, really want to ride (to use your term “have to ride”).

You do have to get it changed. Probably best to do chat again, but possibly can do it at the umbrellas. Worst case, you could swap magic bands for the ride (i.e. give the magic bands linked to the pre-selection to the four people who want to ride).

Be aware that in order to make changes or see alternate times, the CM may need to first cancel your existing DAS Advance Selection. Once it’s cancelled, there is no guarantee another DAS Advance Selection time will be available during a good time for your group or even available at all.

It may be easier to share MagicBands/tickets and let those who want to ride use the MBs of those who are registered for the Advanced Selection. The Advanced Selections can be very hard to change and I don't think you can mix-and-match party members across 2 DAS for the Advanced Selections. You can also try to align a DAS Return Time in-park to match up with an Advanced Selection so everyone can ride. I don't believe the Blue Umbrellas can change/add/do anything with Advanced Selections.

I talked to our party members and I think my mom is gunna buy a magic band so they can switch their bands so my daughter can ride. I think we’re also gunna try and get the other half of our party a das in park that day. It’s our first time using das so everything is really confusing. They didn’t have a time available for the people under my pass (I think 5 people including me under mine) but one was availble for those under my nieces pass (4 people including her)

My niece has a das and 3 people were put under hers (he sectioned us off as alaphabetical order). So she has the advance selection for slinky dog along with my mom, husband and my son. My mom doesn’t like roller coasters and slinky is my daughters favorite ride. I think we’ll try to get a pass when we hit the park that day but otherwise I think we’ll have my mom and daughter switch tickets so she could ride it. I apologize if I worded my post weird.
