Do you have someone in your neighbourhood that constantly HONKS for someone?

My neighbours across the street have an aunt or someone that comes EVERY day to pick up the kids. Instead of going in she comes around the street corner and starts honking. EVERY single day!

grrrr.

I mean I know we all need to use the horn once in a while and I will admit to using it on occassion especially when dh is late for something... lol BUT it certainly isnt a daily thing and really only when Ive lost all patience with him.

Annoying?

I would contact your neighbor and politely ask them to tell the driver not to honk. If that didn't work, I would go out to the honking car when it arrives and ask the driver not to honk.

The people who live across the street from my parents honk to open their garage door. We haven't figured out if the honking actually opens the door or if it signals somebody inside to open the door for them, but they do it all the time. It's very frustrating. One of the people who lives there gets home from work every day during my kids' naptime.

Honking is very annoying. It should be reserved for when somebody is about to run into you or get run over.

I think it's rude and I never honk the horn in a residential neighborhood.

Guilty myself. But in my defense all my neighbors are gone in the morning when I'm honking at the girls to get in the car on our way to school & I only honk once. I'm a one honker.

Several honkers in our neighborhood. The only time is really annoying is late at night when I'm trying to fall asleep.

our IDIOT neighbor honks his horn every morning as he leaves for work at 6:30 am.

The gentleman that lives to the right side of me fancies himself a "ladies man". He is legally blind but has his own car in case the lady friend is driving an ugly car, he will make her drive his. I swear the first lady has only made it to the stop sign at the end of the road before the second lady is pulling up in his driveway. However, at 12:00 every afternoon, another 70ish man pulls up in his driveway and blows the horn. I don't mind because I have been told by him that is his "break time for adult beverages" because he needs a break from his "lady friends". Now when the horn honks, the kids all yell, "Tea time for Mr. Robert!" :rotfl2:

Oooo, I hear you on this issue! A honker has recently turned up in our neighborhood. Almost every morning around 7 am. And not just once...three or four rounds of honking! I'm pretty sure it's some high schooler picking up their friend(s) who are never ready on time. My DH takes our DD in the morning and I am a very late to bed, later to rise type so this really irks me!

We use to have a couple a few doors down and EVERY morning about 7am the husband would leave for work and beep his horn about 6-8 times (I guess saying "bye" )....drove me nuts....I am sure others that were sleeping weren't very happy.....
