Dapper Days OR Veteran's Day Weekend

Hi All,

What weekend do you think will be less crowded? We are planning on going Sat-Tues, just debating what weekend either 11/4-11/7 or 11/11-11/14.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!! Thank you

I think I'd choose DapperDay weekend. The other weekend is not only a Holiday weekend but a race weekend too.
They're both going to be crowded so you'll have to expect that...

I think they will both be busy but Dapper Day will have the tradeoff of seeing everyone all dressed up, which sounds so neat. We are going for Dapper Day and can't wait!

I'd do Dapper Day weekend as well! Sun is by far the busyest day that weekend as it's the main event day. My top tip for Dapper Day: make table service reservations. It provides a nice break from the crowds!

I've never been on dapper day so I can't speak on the crowds, but I was there those days last year on Veterans Day weekend/race/first holiday weekend - it was easy peasey! MUCH less crowded than our October visit. I think the days were 6s maybe 7s on the touring plan website. It wasn't bad at all. So I'd personally go then and see the holiday season in full bloom!

Here are HISTORICAL numbers from last year. These aren't predictions. There was a small increase in crowds the weekend following Dapper Days but I'd HANDS DOWN take slightly increased crowds if it meant holidays had started. I'd much rather see the trees and lights and Christmas parade and snow falling from the sky then people dressed up all dapper.
