Dapper days hotel question (fall 2017)

How far in advance do the hotels book up? We are considering going for Fall Dapper days but flight so aren't available yet so not quite ready to book a hotel.

Don't want to miss out on the discount, but don't want to lose a one night deposit either if we can't make it work when flights are released.

We just booked our room for spring this week. DLH was gone by the next day but GCH was still available as of yesterday.

I booked our Fall Dapper trip in early July for DLH. GCH was already not available for a couple days and PP was filled within a couple weeks of when we booked.
