Dapper day ... Hotel offer

I believe that the Dapper Days hotel discount works the same, per DISNEY policy as Gay Days, which is:

The official policy, set by Disney, is that the rate is for guests who are coming to Gay Days as opposed to guests who are coming to Disneyland and it happens to be Gay Days. So, to the extent that the messages are getting the word out that there is a code that can be used for discounts for those wanting to attend the event, it’s totally kosher. For those who have no interest in the event and are taking advantage of a discount code, that would be considered against policy.

I think the posts on your site sort of straddle the line. But I do think some responders “get it.”

Thank you!

Does anyone know if the ticket prices for DD are the same/pretty close to those for Gay Days? (I've signed up for the DD email list for purchasing, but haven't seen a purchase link yet...
Dapper Day park tickets are available, but not directly linked from the Dapper Day site.
The links are not hidden, but the path is not obvious:

Fall 2016 Disneyland CA has a link to --> Disney Meeting reservation site and (on the second page of booking) has a link to --> Dapper Day tickets.

Try approaching some of the Bat Days participants and starting up a conversation. You'd be surprised how friendly and open most of them are. We've had hilarious conversations with Bat Days guests in lines and at restaurants. We do Dapper Days and love chatting with other guests who are "dapper" in a different way.
Love this!

We will be getting annual passes at the beginning of 2017 and hope to participate in Dapper Days in April 2017!

I would sign up for their emails just to get info and updates but it is not necessary to get the discounts. Call the Disney Convention phone number 714-520-5005 and tell them that you are participating in Dapper Days and want to book a room at the convention rate.Be sure to add park admission tickets to your room reservation. That locks in the discount against any price increase between the time you book and the time you arrive. You will pay one nights stay as a deposit but don`t need to pay for tickets until you check in.. They haven`t required registration to the Dapper Day events in the past but follow the updates as that may change.
I prefer calling to make reservations rather than booking online. Call back about two weeks before arrival to make sure they have everthing in order, like all the room guests names or any special requests like connecting room or concierge

Do I have to call to add the tickets on? I see a link in my email confirmation for the room but I think I have to pay for the tickets up front.

I have my Dapper days reservation number, but it's not letting me link the reservation to my online Disney account. Is this a problem anyone else has had?

Do you mean My Disney Experience? Because that's only for Disneyworld. I don't really know of an online system for Disneyland.

When you go to disneyparks.com, then get to disneyland under the Parks and Destinations link. When disneyland pulls up I believe it's under Places to stay where it has a My Reservation link.....you need ur 8 digit reservation number and ur phone number. When I enter those numbers it doesn't work??

Is the Dapper Days reservation booked through Disney Travel Company? If it isn't then your reservation might not work since it's not in the system. I'm sure someone who's booked through them before will let you know for sure. But, you may want to call Disneyland and have them connect you with Walt Disney Travel Company to find out for sure.

Thank you! It was made through the link on Dapperdays.com.

Agree here with all of the other posters ... if you are going to use the DD discount, PARTICIPATE! We did and had a blast!!!!!

Also, curious about concierge prices for DD hotels ... never even thought about adding that!

Does anyone know the current amount to add concierge to Dapper Day rooms for each hotel?
It depends on availability. For instance when I booked DLH a couple months ago I inquired but concierge wasn't available for our days at the DD rate anymore so the price was over double a standard room. Apparently those rooms go fast! Not surprised! Just call and ask, best and most accurate way to get the info because they can tell you if it is even available. (I can't imagine any concierge is available at the DD rate for Fall at this point but cancellations do happen. Admittedly there should be fewer cancellations with this year's one night non-refundable deposit policy.)

My Gay Days confirmation had this information:
Suite reservations: do not include concierge services. If concierge services have been added to your reservation, an additional per night fee will be added to your account daily as set forth below.
This fee is not included in the room rate noted on this Confirmation.
$150 per night plus taxes and fees at Disney's Paradise Piers Hotel.
$200 per night plus taxes and fees at the Disneyland® Hotel.
$225 per night plus taxes and fees at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel® & Spa.
While this relates to suites, these prices seem typical for all room types.

Do you call the convention number to add concierge/club to the reservation when going for Dapper Days?
