I just wanted to drop in and share all the new developments!

So....Let's see.

-This weekend I'm leaving to go home to Pennsylvania because I'm having my first bridal shower on the 21st! I'm SO excited. I don't know who all is coming yet, but it should be fun. So this has left me with the dreaded packing. Ughhh. We decided to ship all our wedding stuff from PA to FL. It'll be easier than trying to take it on the plane, I hope, but right now I'm just getting stressed. It doesn't look like a lot, but it is! Hahaha.

-I also went to check up on our registries and saw that 2 of our requests were filled! I'm such a sucker for ruining surprises, though. I always have to guess who gives us presents... Chris gets so angry. So I won't tell him anything else and just let it be a surprise for him at the shower.

-Also, the bridesmaid dresses came in! We paid them off and I picked them up today! I couldn't wait to see them...and they're just so gorgeous! They ran a little bigger than we were told, but hopefully that just means all my girls will fit into them. I also had to put the necklaces on to see how it would look with the neckline...I'm in love. (Excuse my stupid sleepy looking expression)

-While I picked up the dresses I also made my first fitting appointment!!! Friday, September 2nd I'm going to get to see my dress again and get this show on the road! I'm too excited about everything right now!

-I made arrangements for my dress to be pressed/steamed the morning of the wedding...so I'm all set with that, thank goodness.

-Chris and our groomsman, Kevin sat down with me and went over all sorts of music selections to play during the cocktail hour, reception, etc. (I can't believe the guys actually wanted to help with something!)

-I made a newsletter to hand out at our showers. (I'm gonna upload it in another post.) I don't know if this is the best place to hand them out, but most everyone that would be coming has not even had the chance to really talk about the wedding with us, so I thought this would be a good way for everyone to get the basic gist at the same time.

-Our 100% pre-payment is due to DFTW this week

-So far we have 40 confirmed people attending the wedding! That's not even including our massive bridal party and their guests/families. I think our guest count is going to be much larger than we anticipated.

Hmmm, I could have sworn I had more to share, but of course I can't think of anything now. Oh, well...I think that's enough to tide you over for now.

you'll be coming out of your rehearsal brunch when we're on our way to afternoon tea we're also braving the saturday crowd at f/w--it's really the only day we can.

i'm getting out of control excited!!

i think i'm going to ship a box of stuff to the GF. i know i won't have that much compared to a big wedding-but i won't be as low maintenence this trip, lol. so stuff like hair product, face wash that *could* get on my clothes, lol--i will throw them away before coming home. maybe my hair dryer and flat iron.. etc. when are you going to ship yours--how many days before??
