Great beach pics! I miss the beach I used to live 5 minuted from it and now I'm a 6.5 hour drive away from it. I have never been to Daytona though it looks really nice.

I love the ocean- never lived near one but ALWAYS tool family vacations to one each year when I was young.....I wish I could live at a beach!

Did you make the pirate outfits too?? You need to start a ebay store: disney family theme outfits. Too cute!! I need to buy or find somehting too. We are going December 30th - January 6th. Any ideas??

Hey Farrah! Thanks for checking in,,he-he,,,I bet you`ve been busy with 2 Foster girls! Are they sisters? Bless you for doing that. I have thought about it. But I`m not sure I could send the children or babies back to where they came from.
Thats cool that you guys are going to go back next year! We are going to wait till our 20th anniversery in May 2009(no kids!)..we have too much to catch up on now,,like the last 3 Disney Trips! Plus my last one will be in Kindergarten full time next Sept, so I can work during the day,,now I`m working at a Package store a few nites a week for extra cash,,(I love it though!) I signed up on Leylas new community thread..We discovered that we live about 10 mins away! funny,,,,

so where did I leave off? OH yeah...we were in Daytona for 3 nights so we really only had 2 full days there....

I left off when we took a break to go grab some lunch with my dad and styep mom, We looked thru a visitor resturant book and decided to go to a place called OCEAN DECK, Its a little, bar/resturant right on the beach. It was very good. I had a philly chhese steak..dunno what everyone else got.. I forgot I do remember that they served the kids meals on a frisbee turned upside down and then the kids got to take them home--pretty cool
here is my dad and step mom--lunch was on them! YAY

And here is Dane as we are about to leave the place

after lunce we all went shopping at the beach stores. I had to pick up some shirts from "the salty dog" surf shop for the boys! Then we headed back to the hotel and went over to my dads room to hang out (cause it was nicest)LOL

afterwards we decided to go back up to our room for a little bit, I was pretty tired..That sun really does a doosey on ya! LOL

dont mind the bra laying on the bed....we dont keep a clean house while vacation

Well everyone was ready to get back on the beach or get in the pool again so we got our suites on AGAIN-The skinny shot just isnt quite working is it LOL

Heres Dane showin off the TV cabinet..acting like he is on the price is right or somethin!

so we went down and hung out at the pool- didnt get many pics of that but here is one of the pool

We spent the evening hangin out on the beach and in the indoor pool, then took a night time walk on the beach and it was time to get the boys laid down-Dane and I sat out on the balconey for awhile and just enjoyed the view and then we went to bed!

The next morning my dad and step mom were leaving, they were headin to Key west. So when we got up we went down to there room to find that my step mom had made biscuts and gravy for everyone (even my mom and sister) and Cinnimin rolls for the kids-and me too

After we said our goodbyes we went back to our room and got readyto hit the beach!

We enjoyed the day at the beach yet again and eventually went and had dinner with my mom and sister at IHOP of all places. When we got back we let the boys play some video games

and then hit the sack.

The next morning was departure day but we wouldnt stop our vacation there!! It kept going and going and going!!

thanks DM...Yeah I dont care for that either...He use to smoke, only every once in a while- I guess he thought he was cool or sumthin! Anyway I quite before our trip and I hate smoke now!

Not keeping your room clean, my hiney! I see a photo of a bra recklessly tossed on the bed, followed by one of Dane having a smoke (that he has only "every once in a while"). Hmmm. . . even I can do that math, girlfriend. (Cue sappy music.) Sky rockets in flight. . .

Sounds like you had a blast at Daytona. We did a (half) day trip there once a couple of years ago, and you make me want to go back and spend more time there. But IHOP for dinner, ugh. Life after the free DDP stinks, doesn't it?

Hi, Yes I made the pirate outfits with the help of my mother. Thank you on the compliments. I prolly will list them on ebay because I wount have a use for them anymore, and some other little one could get some use of them.

Hi Carrie, Yeah it gets hard sometimes when you haveto let them go back-especially if you know its not a good environment for them. I have had these 2 girls before, back in August, and when they went home I checked on them 3 days later and they were filthy dirty and hadnt eatin so I knew right then it was just a matter of time before Id get them again.Oh and yes they are sisters
we may or may not go next year- it depends on our funds and if the free dining comes out in April. If not we will go the next year as it will be our 10 year anniversery
How funny that you guys just realized you live that close- BUT HOW COOL!! Leyla is a cool chic- Id ike to get the chance to hang out with her sometime...now YOU can. (sound like Im still in high school-"shes a cool chic, I wanna hang out" LOL)

Hi Jordan! Not sure that I make out he minnie...Ill have to go back and check it out again LOL-- Pool was nice--dunno about the bar cause we didnt visit it. It did look cool though.

Breakfast was awsome! I really enjoyed spending that time with my dad- we dont have a chance to do that often at home...he owns a car bussiness so he never has to be up early, then he gets so busy in the day running around that we dnt have the chance to do lunch or dinner often.
Tell Mini I said hello! Javen and heath LOVE arcades! Even if its just for a few minutes they have to get in a game or two.

Daytona was great...Its starting to be a tradition now that after we leave disney we hit Daytona (if were driving ofcourse).
