My DBF and I will be in Disney the same time as you and staying at ASMu (too bad you guys aren't stay there anymore). If you see us wandering around the parks (thats me in the pic <--- and you can't miss my man...he's 6'7" and has a baby face) say hi!!

Oh and I can't get on Myspace at work..but feel free to stop by mine:

It takes us about 9 hours! (Way too long) I did it once in 7 when I was single and liked to drive really fast! :lmao: How about you guys?

You know, when Chad and I went in 97. We left from Stockbridge, Georgia and you will never believe how long it took us to get to Orlando. He picked me up from my house and we went to his mom's house in Stockbridge. We left from there at 11:30 pm and made it to Orlando, in the parking lot of our hotel, at 3:30 am. I dont have a clue how we did it! :confused3

Yay for travel documents
What TA did you use?

The watch for Heath is adorable! And Javen's haircut is too cute!!

Dane's tattoo looks great :thumbsup2
TY..man your trip is almost here! you lucky girl!
We used the magic for less travel, its who Tanya uses.

Agreed...On the suck part! LOL!

Well, it usually takes about 6-7 hours. So, I think we might have been "breaking the law" maybe kinda going a little too fast than we were supposed too???:rotfl2:
No seriously, I don't think we were paying attention at all to how fast we were going. Which is very scary!

I have a question...
I was looking at the prices on disneyflorist . com and found that they are SUPER high! So heres what Im wondering...can I put together a basket (with non-parishable items) and pack it nicley in a box and ship it to disney, and have it waiting for me when I get there? and if SO, how can I do this and make it a suprise so that dane and the boys wont see there basket till I sneek it up to the room? Dont they usually give you your boxes when you check in?

TIA:goodvibes

have you looked at www.memoriesbybetsy.com I used them last time, and it was pretty reasonable. Just an idea.

Congrats on gettting your documents.:cool1: That is always the best.
I love the hat on you..too cute. I wish I looked cute in hats!:confused3

Whoa! 16 hours is a lot of driving! I used to do that kind of thing years ago, don't know if I could now or not. Make sure you bring a lot of MB20 music so ya have something to listen to!

That sounds like a good idea too. Sending your own goodies down and surprising them. You're there a day early so maybe you could sneak away a second and call WL and ask them about how to get it in the room. You could see if once you check in someone could run up and put your stuff out? I know you HAVE to check in before something is allowed to be put in the room.

Since your first night is at CBR a Pirate themed cake would be cute for the boys!?

I don't know how they do things at WL, or CBR (not sure which resort you want the basket delivered to), but at POFQ they did not give us our box at check-in (packages were stored somewhere else--over at POR, I think); we had to call a number to request that it be delivered. What I do is send my dh and kids to the pool/arcade/food court/gift shop (take your pick) while I do a little "unpacking," and that's when I call for the package. It usually comes pretty quickly but, if the rest of the gang happens to be there, I just tell them it was some extra clothes and stuff that I didn't want to pack in the suitcase.

Wait a minute--now that I think about they did deliver a package to us at CBR without my calling. (Sorry, it was several years and several trips ago, so I almost forgot about it.) And it was a bad box, too, because it contained the kids' Christmas presents from Santa :scared: and they were standing right there when the guy delivered it :scared1:. I went with the "extra underwear" story, and no one wanted anything to do with that box.

Do you do the check-in? (If not, send Dane to chase after the kids for a minute during the 20 minute process.) Here's what I would do--mention the box to the CM at check-in, ask her to call for it and find out how quickly it will be delivered, and then send them out to check out the resort or whatever, like I said above, around that time. Then you can grab the box and get everything set up for them while they're gone.

We're so close I can't believe it!

What I've always done is send the kids to the pool and unpack their surprises and arrange them on their bed while they are gone. I usually do a little note or something every day, so I also would send them all out to the bus stop, and then quickly place the notes or whatever onto the beds for when we got back.

yeah I think thats what I will do..send Dane and the boys off to explore the resort and then talk to the CM and get it all figured out. Thanks for the tips!

WE ARE SOOO CLOSE!:cool1:

Just wanted to share that I just booked our 2 night stay at Daytona!!!
I wasnt sure if we were going to be able to do it this year with the upgrade to WL BUT I got a great price for a one bedroom suite (the one we had last year) so I went for it!
We will stop off at the beach for 2 days to relax after leaving disney, then head home!
Here are a few pics of the condo...
