Dane, Farrah, Heath & Javens "dreaming" of dreams TR 8/30-9/6*UPDATE pg 28 9/28*

Eat breakfast in our room.
Get on bus for Hollywood Studios by 8:20 a.m.
Be at rope drop. When the rope drops have Dane run for FP’s for everyone for TOT.
Meet in front of Toy Story Ride, ride in the standby line (should wait 20-30 min. first thing~hopefully).
After the ride head back towards TOT and ride and grab FP’s for Rockin’ Roller Coaster
Do Great Movie Ride and the Backlot Tour
Grab FP’s for Indiana Jones show
Lunch before noon at Pizza Planet
After lunch go use FP’s for Rockin’ Roller Coaster or Indiana Jones show, depending on show time we get FP’s for.

Be at Jedi Training Academy by and get up front to try and be picked for the show.
After the Jedi Training Academy get a spot for the parade, the tree’s across from the hat is a good spot and provides shade, anywhere we can find shade will be a great spot.
Enjoy parade.
Get FP’s for Star Tours before we head into dinner.
Enjoy our dinner at a HS resturant.
After dinner do the Honey I Shrunk the Audience Playground.
Grab FP’s for TOT again while kids are playing to use later that night.
Do the Animation Studio’s Tour, we could take the drawing class here too.
Use unused FP’s from the morning (Star Tours, TOT,Rockin’, etc.).
Get a spot for 10pm Fantasmic show at 9:15 p.m.
Enjoy Fantasmic and head back to WL on the bus.

Javen has been watching the lion king 2 OVER AND OVER...he is addicted for some reason ...I am beginning to think it is because of Kovu, the lion..he has a scar on his face, just like javen and Javen told me he feels sorry for him cause he has a scar
SOOOO I went on E*ay and bought Kovu and Kiara plushes, I am going to take them with us to disney and sneak them in the room and have them waiting for him on the bed.

Anyway I enjoyed your pics from your visit wtih Alicia and Isabelle. Your HS day looks great but I'm tired just from reading it . Well at least you will have a break in the A/C at Sci- Fi so that will help. Looking forward to your trippie, you are going to love WL .

Aww Farrah that just plain sucks. This town is so freaking political when it comes to these situations. Soo I am confused as to why it would be a conflict of interest. Is it not a conflict then when kiddos are placed with you and you still have a family member up in the office? I hope you are feeling better

I wanted to update you all on a sad note:

I just got off the phone with the social worker and she said that we were NOT chosen for a interview to adopt the little girl we love so much, Her directer told her it would not be a good idea.....so what did I do,,,,CALL THE Directer!!!!

I kindly asked her what her decsion was based on, she said to me in a very crappy tone "I think you know why", I said mam, I have no idea why or else I wouldnt be calling you and I am shocked right now. she proceeded to tell me that I have a family member that works up at the office and it would be conflict of interest if they let us interview.
Keep in mind that the case worker has a "friend" that wants this little girl aswell- and guess what....she got a interview. how screwed up is this! I Loved this little girl...she has been a part of my life for months, she has stayed with us, bonded with us, and yet we dont even get a chance to interview-- whats wrong with our system!?!?!
Needless to say I went off on the directer and told her my attorney will be contacting her. actually we will probably not even mess with it after this. NOt to mention that because I went off on the directer, we will probably not be chosen to get foster kids placed with us anymore...we went from one of the best foster homes on the list to the last person they will call LOL.
I am truely writting this with tears running down my face, and although I joke, its sill just is killing me that I will never see this child again once she is adopted out.

Sorry for the vent and the novel, but wanted to update you all.....Thanks for all the prayers you have said for us and I know That god must have something else planned for us - I just wish the little girl the best.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. I'm a long time lurker, who followed your trip report from last year. Along with Tanya, and Alicia's as well. When I read that all of you were going again this September and planning another glow meet, I thought I'd come out of "lurkdome" and join in as we are going in September as well.....However, we don't arrive until September 17. Oh well....

Anyway, I know the struggles with the system all too well. I was a foster parent for 14 years (quit last year). I have adopted four kids through foster care. I have three boys and one girl. My youngest two boys (ages 7 and 2) are full bio-sibs. My oldest son is 14, and my daughter is 10.

I could share stories with you that would make your skin crawl. I'm so sorry with what happened with that little girl you were interested in. Makes one wonder sometimes....Is it really about the child?

On the same note, if a "forever" little girl is meant to come your way...She'll find her way to you. Keep the faith! (((Farrah)))
