Hi Farrah,
Just read and posted on your thread on the resorts board. You will love WL , we stayed there twice and loved it. The rooms, pool and restaurants are great. The CS is small though compared to pop. You can watch the Electrical Water Pageant on the beach and boat to MK, Contemporary, and Fort Wilderness. We booked WL for our October trip but had to switch to CSR because of $$$ . Please give me you opinion of CSR good or bad??

Yeah- Im so glad to chat with some peeps thathave stayed there! I might have a ADR for WCC I definitly would like to see the EWP, as we have nver done that before.

Okay here is a run down of ADRs and plans FOR DAY ONE...A more detailed itenerary will be coming up shortly.

Arrive: Check into WILDERNESS LODGE at approx. 9:30 AM, take boat to MK since Room with more than likley NOT be ready.Oh and hopefully get pixiedusted and get a upgrade LOL- not holding my breath

At MK we will RIDE RIDE...walk to contemp.
Have a late lunch at Chef Mickeys (trying to get a later ADR for dinner)
take boat back to WL and take nap (I am driving ALL night so I will be tired)
After nap we head back to Mk
Ride rides, see shows etc.
Have dinner at Peco Bills(may make this lunch if we can get a CM dinner)
watch Spectro
watch wishes
take boat back to WL for some R&R

Coming up-- Day 2's rundown of plans (remember, I will have a very detailed Itenerary later- this is just a generic version)

So, does your family know about WL or is it a complete surprise? Are you going to tell them on the way or when you get down there? I've always wanted to plan a surprise like this, but I know I would just about pop with excitement to tell. I'd never make it.

Well as much as I would have loved to keep it a secret from my husband- Its NOT working LOL...I am just to excited! however, my boys will have no idea untill we pull up to the place...Not sure that they will even care though

I think I will suprise Dane (dh) with a carriage ride at fort wilderness campground-its only 35 dollars.

Congrats on the WL upgrade. I have always wanted to stay there or buy a DVC there. Perhpas if I get a bonus this year, I will look into that.

Yes the POP glow party is on the 5th of Sept at Petels pool bar...my family WILL still be there even though we switched to Wilderness lodge- I have many friends staying there and I wouldnt miss it fo rthe world.

Im glad you finally posted, not that I have anything against lurkers LOL.....sorry its been going so slow....so many changes kinda slows down the PTR process ya know.

Okay so Im not crazy thinking the disboard is playing mind games on me LOL


I do hope we enjoy the wilderness lodge- It was quite expensive for our tatses anyway and I sure would hate to be dissapointed. VERY doubtful though-- the pictures look sooo nice!

Well today has been a busy day for me as usual! Anyway, I decided to pick up a few outfits for my upcoming trip-- I hardley ever buy myself new clothes so I really didnt have anything decent to wear in WDW....Well for the first time I tryed on "board shorts"..I think thats what there called.LOL I always thought I was to "big" for them ( i am a big girl)...BUt to my suprise they actually look better than the shorter shorts. Here are a few of the outfits I picked up

Okay this one DOES not go together but I have denim shorts for the shirt and a tan shirt to match the shorts already in my wardrobe.

Can wear the red or the black with these shorts

these are actually purple plaid with Tan shorts but they didnt show up well

Pretty cute stuff for a big IMO.
