Dancing With the Stars - Spring 2017

That would be me. :p

He is scummy. The Bachelorette didn't pick him, (he was one of the Final 2,) and he threw her under a bus. We all know they probably sleep together on the "overnite" dates. But, after she picked the other guy, he whined like a schoolboy that they slept together, then she picked the other guy, like she's a ****. :sad2:

Man UP, you scumball. :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: It wasn't like he was a virgin. He was a sore looser with no balls. Turns out she was right to not pick him. He's got no integrity. :p

The producers can try to dress him up, but he's still scummy underneath. Bleh! :crazy2: Now, feel I have to take a shower, talking about him again. :headache:

Okay you got it out hopefully you can you let it go. I like Nick and will defend him whined liked a school boy he wanted to know why she slept with him if she didn't love him enough to marry him? That's not whinning. How is that not intergrity? She told him up to the last minute she loved him lead him on. I'd be hurt and upset to.

so how do you really feel about him? :rotfl::rotfl:;);)

Entertainment Tonight said they found out he's had 14 run ins with the law in the past. Many speeding tickets, some underage drinking, failure to brake, running stop signs, leaving a scene before, and a DUI on 2006. :sad2:

The Bachelor producers declined to comment about whether they knew about any of this before they signed him up for the show.

On ET, last month, they showed an interview with him where he joked about having whiskey for breakfast as his "therapy" for the pressures of reality TV, and not being able to sleep sometimes, waking up at 3am. :sad2:

GMA, this morning, said that if he was drinking and alcohol is found to be the cause of the accident, he may also be facing negligent homicide or reckless homicide, in addition to the 5 years for leaving the scene where a death happened.

Ummm, don't farmer's get up by 3 a.m. all the time? Or maybe he means a routine 3 a.m. wake up makes it hard to sleep? Either way..Nice breakfast of Champions choice.

You think it was just coincidence that your DH had scheduled his follow up tests at the hospital, with oxygen nearby, while DWTS was on? :rolleyes1
I was quite pleased that had arranged his scans to be completed and we were in the waiting room stage for both Lindsay and Rossy /group dances~while he followed the Cubs game on his phone. My guy is a keeper :thumbsup2

His refusal to leave his home without a warrant is pretty telling. People with nothing to hide don't do that. It was pretty well discussed at the time on Reality Steve that Mr. Soules was a hard drinking contestant....more so than most of them (and drinking is something they pretty much all do on that show....LOL). It will be VERY difficult to prove he was intoxicated at the time of the accident since 5+ hours elapsed between the accident and his arrest. How convenient for him. And, I hope they figure out who drove him away....if someone had time to drive there, and then drive him off, all before help arrived, another wild shot tells me he called that person FIRST before he called for help. How charming.

I hope they throw the book at him. I hope the family of that farmer sues the pants off him too. Don't let the door hit ya, Mr. Soules.

They found beer bottles or cans on the scene. There are conflicting reports as to where they were found & if any were opened. If there were some opened ones and someone drank out of them, forensics may be able to determine, if there is any saliva or DNA residue on it, when they were drunk out of, as in how many hours ago. Although it may not determine how much was last drunk.

TMZ says: "As for whether Chris could be charged with vehicular manslaughter ... law enforcement says it's way too early to tell. The investigation will take 2 weeks to a month to complete, and the results will then be forwarded to prosecutors who will make a decision."

And, I hope they figure out who drove him away....if someone had time to drive there, and then drive him off, all before help arrived, another wild shot tells me he called that person FIRST before he called for help. How charming.

Conflicting reports on that too. ET says he drove himself away. ET played some of the 911 call. (I think TMZ has the full uncut version.) Chris, himself, had called 911, reported the accident, identified himself, was online with the dispatcher who asked him or someone else to check for the other driver's pulse & breathing. She asked for Chris to administer CPR. You can hear Chris ask the witnesses around if anyone knows CPR. Some one administered it. Chris said he had a pulse. The dispatcher asked to check again if the other driver was breathing again.

The TMZ says after some time after that Chris stepped away to make the call for someone to drive him away & that's when he left. That was after 8pm-ish. The police found Chris inside his home but he refused to come out. They tried several times to get him out, eventually getting a warrant and he finally opened the door about 1:15ish am. At his court appearance for leaving the scene of a deadly crash, there is video footage of some stating he should also be charged with obstructing the police investigation, since he wouldn't come out of his house for hours.

Something I wondered about was whether the tractor had lights and if that could have made a difference. A previous poster said she lives near there and it was after dark. According to TMZ: "There's a buzz in the area where the accident occurred that the tractor may not have had its lights on. Someone told us the tractor didn't even have lights. Law enforcement, however, isn't sure the tractor needed lights because it was twilight at the time of the crash."

Just so very sad for the victim's family. :(

:scratchin You're right I could have misunderstood what he said. I deleted the ET episode, so i can't go back & look. He said sometimes he has a hard time sleeping. Then he will wake up at 3am. He could have meant that's the time he always has to wake up, but he's extremely groggy & tired from not getting any sleep. I was thinking he meant he can't sleep and gets out of bed at 3am, like us non-farmers, who feel we might as well do something else for a while.

Rashad said in one of the episodes, maybe the last one, that he was a free agent. Wonder if he got picked up last night by a team.

Don't they start dancing two routines this week?

I just checked, apparently they have dance offs tonight too.

The song list looks absolutely cringe-worthy... but I think that's why I watch this show! :tiptoe:

oh thanks for checking and updating! (not that I'm a fan of dance -off's)

I actually like the dance-offs.

So, it seems that one couple will be eliminated by the regular voting and another will be eliminated via the dance-off. What happens if it's the same couple? What happens if the couple who wins immunity is the one who has the lowest combined score?

Simone Biles & Sasha Farber – SILENT FILMS – Charleston – “Charleston” by Bob Wilson & His Varsity Rhythm Boys

Simone got a "soft ball" with the classic "Charleston" song. I think she'll do OK.

Bonner Bolton & Sharna Burgess – WESTERN – Paso Doblé – “Rodeo: Four Dance Episodes” by Aaron Copland

This is a rough song. I think Sharna is going to be challenged to choreograph a paso to Copland. She'll do it, but I'm not sure Bonner will be able to keep up with what she comes up with.

Rashad Jennings & Emma Slater – HORROR – Paso Doblé – “O Fortuna” by Carl Orff

Another softball song for the paso. I think Rashad will do fine.

Nancy Kerrigan & Artem Chigvintsev – ROMANCE – Tango – “Oh, Pretty Woman” by Roy Orbison

TOTAL soft ball song! The only way this song would be more of a soft ball is if they were dancing the cha-cha. The only problem is "romance" and "Nancy" don't really go together in my mind. We'll see.

Normani Kordei & Val Chmerkovskiy – FOREIGN – Argentine Tango – “Quizàs, Quizàs, Quizàs” by Andrea Bocelli featuring Jennifer Lopez

I adore this song! TOTAL softball for an tango. Why do the front runners get softballs?

David Ross & Lindsay Arnold – SCI FI – Salsa – “Universal Mind Control” by Common

I actually think the song and dance will be right up Rossy's alley. I'm sure he'll have fun with it. I just wish they would give him something a little slower and smoother.

Nick Viall & Peta Murgatroyd – ACTION – Argentine Tango – “Dangerous” by David Guetta featuring Sam Martin

I think this song is going to be tough too, mostly because it changes tempo so much. It stops and starts a lot. I assume that Peta can sample where she wants in the song.

Facts we will never know, conveniently

I see a bunch of break dance moves happening, which IS Rossy friendly , but will it be technical enough for the judges? They certainly are ready to cut to the chase now on who's left and we know who the favorites are and poor Rossy isn't one of them, lol. Unless ABC woudl like to KEEP the gazillion Cub fans watching for ratings :rolleyes1

Nick Viall & Peta Murgatroyd – ACTION – Argentine Tango – “Dangerous” by David Guetta featuring Sam Martin

Why do front runner's get softballs? Lol...why break the show's tradition now?
I saw a clip of Rashad/Emma~so far I like it, creative.:thumbsup2
Bonner will be given good scores regardless.

ETA: I just watched some of Rashad's dances over on youtube..Once Rossy is out of the competition , pretty sure my votes will go to Rashad. Especially since he has no pro dance experience. (Unless he has had some choreography training for football like Nancy prob had in her skating days) Plus seeing Emma win would be awesome!

Do you have the link to Rashad's clip? Yeah, you're right about Bonner which sucks IMO. I can't imagine that he really has that much of a fan base except that he's hot.

I'm not sure what you mean by "softball." Do you mean that the song moderately fits to the dance?

Yes, I mean that the song is very easy to choreograph and dance to it. Seriously, does “Charleston” by Bob Wilson & His Varsity Rhythm Boys for the CHARLESTON get any easier?

I would think that would be the point - to match the song to the dance they're doing, right? But I'm in the crowd that would rather be wowed by technical ability.

I really don't want to see any more waltzes done to 4/4 timing... which has been done in the past although not this season.
