Dancing With the Stars - Spring 2017

I would think that would be the point - to match the song to the dance they're doing, right? But I'm in the crowd that would rather be wowed by technical ability.

I really don't want to see any more waltzes done to 4/4 timing... which has been done in the past although not this season.

But the producers don't always match the songs with the styles of dance. It's not fair that the front runners get easy-peasy songs while the middle and back of the pack get harder or odd songs. Rossy hets “Universal Mind Control” by Common is way more hip-hop than latin while Nomandi gets the sizzling “Quizàs, Quizàs, Quizàs” by Andrea Bocelli featuring Jennifer Lopez. How is that fair?

Well it depends on what they play their strengths on. Quizas actually fits much better for rumba more than anything - maybe loosely to Argentine tango but still not a great fit. It may look good for "sexy moments," but that is about it.

I'll agree with the song that David & Lindsey got. That just doesn't & won't fit for a salsa at all.

How is it fair? It's not. Although on the flip side, Simone & Sasha got "Survivor" last week for their Samba... which was an awful song choice.

Do you have the link to Rashad's clip? Yeah, you're right about Bonner which sucks IMO. I can't imagine that he really has that much of a fan base except that he's hot.

Has Normani ever gotten a song which didn't fit the style of dance she's doing? And has she ever gotten a dance that wasn't sexy or hot?

Bonner was not that good. He sat for the first 20 seconds of the dance, then stood on the table for another 5 seconds. Then mostly stood around & posed while the girls all twirled around him. I'd say he had 20 real dance steps throughout the whole song.
