I still think it's weird that they had their weddings on the same day and made the DWTS cast and former stars pick whose wedding they would go to.

I usually don't like "fussy" wedding gowns, but Peta carries it off so well! Beautiful! I agree that Julianne's was ho-hum and boring.

I just watched the video ... which one is Jewish? M-M-Maks or Peta or both?

Maks is Jewish.

According to TMZ, Julianne marriage was already in a ditch before the wedding even started. It can only go upward from there.

The guests were being transported to the outdoor wedding venue on a buses. One bus didn't make the turn properly and the back end ended up in a ditch. "No one was hurt, and the bride and groom made it safely to the altar."

(Julianne: If you don't want to be compared to Peta, maybe you should have picked a different weekend. I'm assuming it was harder for Peta & Maks to get that date at the castle in L.I. than it was to find some outdoor place in Idaho. )

I just have to say that with M-M-Maks and Peta being so freaking beautiful it's nice to see that their parents look so ... normal.

Yes, I know. They were also married under a chuppah which is why I asked. FWIW, that doesn't mean that M-M-Maks is Jewish, it just means that ONE of them comes from a Jewish family.

I was at one wedding where they accidentally got a super-strong glass to step on. The poor groom stepped on it about 5 time before it broke.

His family is very Ukrainian/Russian Jewish, as are most of his friends and business associates with the exception of a few people.

I actually liked the simplicity of Julianne's dress more. Peta's looked like a bit of a chore to move around in, but still beautiful.

People.com has released some of their exclusive footage of Julianne & Brooks' wedding on a video. With their friends having already posted stuff on social media, it really highlights how archaic it is for a paper magazine to have a publication of 6 days after the actual wedding day.

Turns out the wedding was a full weekend, (Fri & Sat,) not just the wedding day. Their friends got to hang out the whole day before with the couple, go to the beach, go sailing, play Jenga, eat pizzas, etc., and have a very down to earth, casual, relaxed time. That theme carried out through the wedding day.

Julianne had a second, white, reception outfit to wear, (a very elegant yet playful swimsuit coverup dress) that I like much better than her wedding dress, which was by Marchesa. I'm surprised as they usually seem to be a much dressier designer that the plain one she wore. Maybe they designed her swimsuit coverup dress too?

At about the 5:30 min mark, Julianne dances with her (& Derek's) father. Being a graceful dancer runs in the family.

Peta looks beautiful. Julianne's look is a bit underwhelming, imo. I like simplicity in style, but...meh.
