Dancing With the Stars - Spring 2017

my husband asked if Emma was new. Nope, she just usually gets the dancer mostly likely to be eliminated.

I voted for Normani and Rashad, but I really don't have a huge connection for any of them. Weird, I usually do.

I completely agree! Even my husband happened to walk in and asked who that was saying she was horrible! It was almost like they wanted to score her high to show that she should stay instead of Mr. T for some reason. And she talked in her package about making it big when she went to California - what was she ever in? I had never heard of her before.

Mr. T was eliminated based on his scores and votes from last week - at least, that's how I assume it works since they got rid of the results show. I mean, think about it. People who voted for him last week did so based on last week's dance - it wouldn't really make sense then to combine last week's votes with this week's scores. (Although it does mean that this week's scores meant nothing.)

She is on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Married to a top lawyer Tom Girardi in California. She sings songs which are in the top 10 although I've never heard any other than on the show. She danced to one of her songs I think last week - its expensive to be me. Has a huge following in the Gay community and does many concerts. Most of the dancing in her videos and concerts is on the order of how she dances on the show only more over the top.

Thanks! I knew she was on the real housewives from when they promoted her but other than that, I had never heard of her and I don't watch that show. DH laughed that she was famous because she married someone rich - but I didn't even know who that was at the time!

We had the show on, but it was one of those doing a dozen other things kind of nights, so I only have a couple of comments, and most not dance related since I listened more than watched.

I expected Simone to choose her Olympic medal year, and thought it was so sweet that she chose the year she was adopted instead. Impressed by Rashad's nod to his family with his choice as well. Even with her heartbreaking multiple miscarriages story, I can't seem to connect with Nancy, not sure why.

I've never been a Carrie Ann fan, in fact I've been known to fast forward the minute she opens her mouth, and I should have done that last night because I was sooo sick of her lift police mode. You hate lifts, we get it, but there's more to judging and critiquing than that.

Rashad was my favorite tonight. The one I can't warm to is Heather. She might as well be one of the pros, she's got that much training.

OMG.... yes she can REALLY dance.
But.... She has made it evident to me that she is nothing more than a self absorbed, overgrown, teenaged 'mean-girl'

Please let her get sent home!!!!

no explanation for it but the first song that came to mind was Cruella DeVille~ I just hope she doesn't want to be Meg from Hercule's..and instill an icky image of one of my favorite characters

I don't get a mean girl vibe from Heather, maybe you are thinking of her Glee character? But I watched an interview with Kristyn Burt and will say she doesn't seem to have much "there" there. Very sound bite answers, no personality. Maybe very shy? But she is a fierce dancer, and her package was sweet.

Any gossip about Bonner and Sharna? Not sure it's a thing in spite of James thinking so. Saw another video from Henry, the guy who films the cast as they're leaving clubs etc, and Bonner was with another guy and an attractive looking blonde that kept her back to the camera.

On the same video, Nick was leaving with Vanessa and his family. Nick was pouting about something, and his Mom said something about "that woman".

Just throwing a little dirt out there. I may be a bit obsessive about this show.

Throw as much dirt out here as you want. I know you visit the more reliable sites for dirt. Reliable meaning they actually show you a video or photo to back up their speculations, and not just saying things that aren't substantiated in any way, but could just someone making something up or wondering about something, that someone else then thinks it's a real rumour.

Even with her heartbreaking multiple miscarriages story, I can't seem to connect with Nancy, not sure why.

When she was ice skating & competing in the Olympics, she was nicknamed the "Ice Queen" or "Ice Princess," because she comes across as rather remote & unemotional. Maybe because I had seen her that way so much, I can say what we saw this week was actually a lot of emotion for Nancy to show us. But, if you hadn't watched her a lot before, I can understand why it's hard to connect with her.
