Dancing With the Stars - Fall 2024

She came out with a scathing article saying they took advantage of her. I believe she said "exploited" her. I just saw it yesterday.

Poor thing! She was actually expected to do manual labor and DANCE and rehearse for hours! Probably no one explained that to her.

If so, where could I go to see it?

More on the apparently continuing saga of Artem & Nikki.

Nikki filed for a restraining order against Artem on Monday. Nikki claims that Artem has had increasing anger issues since he was FIRED from DWTS. It came to a head on the day the police was called. He was making breakfast for their son. He over-burnt the toast and that set him off. They had a yelling match in front of their son. Nikki ended up going upstairs, Artem followed and continued the argument up there.

Nikki admits she did throw their son's shoes at Artem. But, they were little, lightweight shoes. At one point, Artem tackled her and held her on the ground for about 30 seconds, while their son watched, screaming, "Mommy! Mommy!"

Finally Artem let her up and called the police for medical help. Then called back to cancel. That triggered the police coming out.

Artem tells a different story. He says she is the aggressor and she's the one with anger issues. He shows photos in the link below where he has been hurt. One on the elbow, and one behind the ear.

No one knows if he had shown the police his scrapes. You'd think he would have. Because they clearly saw marks on Nikki and arrested Artem not her.

Wow. Either way, just sad all the way around. I can't imagine that little boy seeing that. Just so so sad.

I just remembered DWTS is on tonight, as I saw it as I passed by the TV. :headache: It's Soul Train night - a dance/music TV show back in the 70s, featuring black "soul"/Motown music.

Val & Phaedra were a bit clunky. I did not realize they are doing a quickstep. I thought they were doing a foxtrot. 🤷‍♀️

Ilona & Alan were clunky too. Alan danced around her a bit. And they did a real foxtrot.

Eric's foxtrot to his wife was really sweet. He actually was able to move and step a bit this week and his posture was better. As Derek said, Eric had an intention he added to the dance.

Stephen & Rylee were really cute together. Stephen has such a great energy and enthusiasm he brings to the competition each week. He's a natural competitor.

Brooks & Gleb wasted about 10 seconds at the beginning just sitting around. She had good leg splits & extensions. She's got legs for days. Her outfit reminded me of what Edyta used to wear.

Wow! Joey & Jenna did a great jive! Very precise and had a lot of personality. 🥳

Aw, Dwight & Daniella didn't have enough rehearsal as they had to travel for his game. It showed, he kept stooping over to dance with Daniella. Their height differential really showed then. :headache:He needed to point his toes. And his technique was off. He tried to hide it with a lot of personality. 🙁

Danny did a lot of walking through his choreography. I thought he was overscored.

Reginald is so sweet and has such a sweet, upbeat energy. But, he took maybe SIX steps his whole dance while Emma danced around him as much as she could. ☹️
