Nikki was a professional wrestler. Yet Nikki was the one with the marks all over her. Enough so that the cops who showed up arrested Artem. But there supposedly isn't enough evidence to charge him. Probably because it would turn into a he said, she said case.

It's because of public cases like this, Nicole Brown Simpson, and others, where the abuser goes free, which is why so many thousands of women, each year, don't end up even reporting their domestic abuse situations.


Right below that article was an article on how Maks feels right now about Artem. He says that's not the Artem he knows. so he's holding off on judgement right now.

I got news for you Maks: Every time a serial killer is found, they news always interviews the neighbors and they, too, say, the guy they knew, they didn't think was like that. (NOT that I think Artem is a serial killer.)
