Yeah, I think Pasha did her in. Dislocating her rib the first week didn't help. As much as she wanted to stay, to me, she didn't look like she was having that great of a time.

Here is my take on the new DWTS. This comes from a retired person who has enjoyed ballroom dancing for real. Tyra seems to be a lovely person but she forgets at times the show is not about her. The runway walk is not necessary and the avant garde outfits...well, the show is not about her modeling career. One of the ads I saw for the show had her face only. I rest my case. I recognize that they are aiming for a younger audience but they are going to lose the faithful watchers who have kept them going for years. I quit watching tonight's show halfway through and it didn't bother me to turn the channel. In the past, I would never have missed a minute. The psychedelic lighting makes it difficult to see some of the dancing. Combine that with neon outfits, my television practically glows in the dark. One last observation-the idea that the show made history with a same sex couple makes me chuckle. First, JoJo has been dancing with girls her whole life. I don't see much difference between a dance troupe and what she and Jenna are doing (and they are quite good). In addition, women have been dancing with women since the first neanderthal wedding when the men refused to dance.

I think with the pandemic the choice of celebrities is even worse this year. This show seems to follow a patten. No one is eliminated the first week. Some old guy/gal is invited just so they have someone to throw off first after the second dance. Then there is the second worst person who is thrown off after the third dance. This gives the rest of the celebrities a chance to get a few dances in and find a rhythm with their partner. So by week 4 the pack is starting to separate a little. The whole flow of the show got screwed up a couple years ago when Bobby Bones won and the brass didn’t know what to do that’s why the judges get the final say now. I’ll still watch because I enjoy watching how the dance gets better every week. I also think JoJo will win this year because it’s the trendy thing to do. At least I like watching her dance.

I’m in my early 60’s and overweight so I can say this. Tyra needs to have someone tell her the truth, that her outfits are designed for someone half her age and size.

What are they going to do next week? The earliest one should be getting a PCR test is 10 days after the onset of symptoms, unless that has changed. I suppose they could test him every day until he's negative. So, while Cheryl may be recovered by that time, Cody will still not be. So, they won't dance together and in the studio along with everyone else for a third week?

I am trying to figure this out too!
