Oh, wait, I just saw the tweet. Yeah, it probably is Maks. Now that Derek is gone, Maks may possibly get someone good an possibly win.

I just got in. I'm teaching a class on Wed nites now. So I'm exhausted.

And I'm teaching a private lesson tomorrow afternoon. So, I don't think I'm going to get up just to post one pro announcement for tomorrow.

If he's on, he's going to be this season's Heather Mills. (The woman that married & divorced Beatles member, Paul McCartney.) Some people will love him regardless. Some people will be angry at him for representing the U.S. in such a bad light.

Neither Simone nor Laurie can be doing this season as both will be on the Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastics Champions which starts at almost exactly the same time. If they get a gymnast for this season it would almost certainly be McKayla Maroney.

I'm happy. I'm a swim mom and I like Ryan Lochte. He needs to re-establish his brand and what better way than to be charming on DWTS?

As someone who follows swimming (even when it's NOT the Olympics) I think that whole Lochte episode has completely been blown out of proportion. Yes, he was drunk. Yes, he peed behind the gas station. Yes, he knocked down an advertizing poster. Yes, he lied about having a gun pointed to his head. HOWEVER ... the swimmers never destroyed a bathroom -(the Rio police LIED about that). They WERE held at gunpoint by security (perhaps illegally). They were shaken down by security to "pay" for the poster (how much different is that from being robbed?). Frankly, I think that Lochte has been railroaded here and that the companies withdrew their support for him did so before all the evidence was out. It's a real shame because what he really did was not that bad in the grand scheme of things. Was he immature? You bet.

That would be fine by me. Last season, you guys did such a great job of finding out the spoilers that I only had ONE couple not confirmed before the "official" announcement. All I had to do was double check the spellings of names and the descriptions of what the stars do. That was GREAT for rolling out of bed and having to be coherent enough to get everything down legibly.

I think, if we get a gymnast, it will be the one without all the product endorsements. Sponsors don't want their faces too overused on DWTS or for other brands. The point is for them to be remembered for their brand(s.)

By comparison, Ryan Lochte had four sponsors drop him. To re-establish his image, he & his people think DWTS may be a good thing for him.

Anyone see the rumor about the woman from Little Women LA? I hope that won't be Sasha's partner.
