We just got back from a pretty great trip and I just thought I'd post a few fun tidbits and information. I put the topic of each segment in bold, so you can just skim through for things you want to know if you don't want to read the whole thing....it's kinda long. 
* First of all, we went to the Visa Meet and Greet which was kinda cool. Goofy started dancing with me, which I thought was hilarious and made me note throughout the trip, that every time I see Goofy, he is dancing.
Do you think it's part of his job requirement?
* The Photopass - such a great idea! They work really well and you can add little signatures online. DH and I really were impressed by this system.
* DisneyQuest - for some reason, from reading things on here and other places, I was under the impression that I would enjoy DQ even though I don't really care for video games and such....I was wrong. For those of you like me that don't really like video games at all, you probably will NOT like DQ. DH really enjoyed himself...I loved the Pirates game, but the Aladdin one just about made me sick....the head thing smelled funny and it made my head get all hot and you're flying all over the place - YIKES. It was not good. And as this was the second game we played, I kinda lost my excitement for the others.
It was ok, and like I said, DH had fun, but really, not what I thought "interactive" would be.
* We went to MNSSHP twice, and they are really adding to this every year to make it better. The music to the parade and the fireworks was just awesome. So much fun! The new fireworks show was awesome too...lots of effects, fun music, themed wonderfully...just really cool. They also had a villian mix and mingle where the villians came out and danced which I just thought was HILARIOUS. I mean, the Evil Queen and Jafar did a hip-bump thing that made me laugh all night. And this year there was a whole candy trail themed to Alice and Wonderland. I met the best Mad Hatter and the WALRUS! Pretty cool. There were lots and lots of characters at the party too, we saw - Jafar, Captain Hook, Cruella, Evil Queen, Maleficent, Big Bad Wolf, Frollo, All 7 Dwarves, Hercules, Queen of Hearts, Alice, Mad Hatter, Walrus, lots of cards, Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet, Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella, her prince, and her mice, Donald, and I think that's it that we saw.
* Other characters - there seem to be more characters out in general since the celebration started, we saw characters out everywhere...if you have specific questions, let me know.
* Cinderellabration - after hearing so much criticism, we didn't watch this show in June, but man, did I love it! I'm not sure why people dislike it....it's a show at Cinderella's castle, what would fit better than the crowning of Cinderella? Anyway, I thought it was beautifully done and I loved seeing all the princesses - I thought it was so sweet and really liked it. (And I have been studying and working in the theatre since 2nd grade and teach drama now, so it's not like I'm clueless about performances...
) Guess like everything else, it's just a matter of opinion.
* Speaking of shows, we made sure to see Tarzan again since it's leaving and we don't know if we'll be back before it leaves. DH and I really love this show too, and I was really upset they skipped the entire acrobatic section with Tarzan and Jane for the last time I'll see it.
Oh well....maybe I'll just have to convince DH to go to Tokyo Disney.
* I weigh about 1000 tortillas.
* What's up with the Osborne Lights being put up already? It looks really gross in OCTOBER to have all the lights everywhere. It makes no sense that they should be out during the day in Oct. hanging Christmas lights. It just really bugs me how much more you see cast members doing things during the day now. It's so much less magical when you can watch them hang lights a month or so before they are supposed to be there...
* Ohhhh here's a great trivia bit - anyone know what ride you would see a man in his long underwear floated in circles in a bathtub?? DH and I laughed our heads off when I saw this. Anyone else know??
* Another trivia question - When you are going in to Buzz Lightyear's ride, what does the magic eight ball say?
* I actually maxed out the score at Buzz this time! DH ALWAYS beats me! I beat him the first time, then he beat me once or twice, then he told me one of the spots that was 100,000 points and right then we got stuck, so I hit it like 8 times! He couldn't believe it when we stopped at my score was flashing 999,999! Woohoo! 
* Soarin' is definitely best in the top middle! The screen like goes around you, and it just really feels amazing. Try for this spot if you ever have a choice!
