....I would probably have jumped outta the moving car and hit the ground running...

So, most of you know all about this new FastPass + system at WDW (if you don't, you basically now book in advance and are limited to 3/day in the same park).

They are currently testing a tier approach in Epcot. When you go to book, you get to pick one "headliner" and two "lesser" attractions. Supposedly the idea behind this is to spread out the crowds, but the way it is playing out in reality is that Disney is deciding where and what you should ride, not you the guest.

I have a problem with this. And according to what I'm reading on various boards, lots and lots of people are having a problem with this. I really just wish they would leave well enough alone. I'm not trying to come across as a cry-baby -- my trip in May is 90% a gracious gift from a friend and I'm still beyond excited to go -- but the Disney landscape is changing and honestly, if you're paying the kind of money that one typically does for a WDW vacation, YOU should be the one dictating HOW you spend your time!!!!

There are definitely some kinks to be worked out in the system but I think Disney will keep working until people are mostly happy. These boards prove you can't make everyone happy, even in the happiest place on Earth. I do like being able to FP parades so I don't waste my day holding a spot.

Well said.

I didn't mind the FP+ when I could pick the 3 rides I wanted to do; without tiering. I don't like that you are restricted to only 3; and all in the same park.

It definitely makes me rethink a WDW holiday; particularly when my DS is now starting to prefer the bigger coasters; the sort that can be found at Universal.

I guess time will tell and who knows what things will be like in May. :confused3

I'm up and out early today..... doing the very last of my Christmas shopping (stockings for DS14 and DS12), then I've got to get in and out of the grocery store before the masses hit. Because we are getting a lot of snow tonight, it will be mobbed. :headache: The joke is that people must make a lot of French toast during a storm, since everyone wants to stock up on milk, eggs, and bread. :rotfl:

:wave2: Hopping by, because I was checking out the rumor mill for the marathon in January.

Thought you all would be interested. . .when I log on, the feed has a advertisement for housecleaning services.

Are the Disboards trying to tell me something? (If they are, they are right)

I also need to go to the store for the same reasons as LegoMom. A little Christmas and due to the pending storm. I was hoping the lakes would have a chance to make some good ice before a blanket of insulation hit.

It is flurrying here. By midnight we should have 4-8 inches of snow. Yuck.

Ok, it is BEYOND. WEIRD. that I come in here and see your post!!!....I was just thinking this morning how it had been quite a while since you'd been here and wondering when you'd next stop by...... :scared1: I'm officially weirded out.
