I really tried to get to Albuquerque in September. DH just wouldn't go for it.

I don't remember much about Albuquerque, other than we drove through it (this was a long time ago!), but Santa Fe was really, really cool. Smaller, lots of adobe buildings and a neat craft/food market area. I'd like to go back there someday.

I am officially starting a movement to go back to horse and buggy days...... D.O.N.E. with vehicles!!!!!!!!

DH's stupid car decided that right before Christmas would be a GREAT time to start tossing parts aside and generally falling to carp!!! I've hated that car from Day 1. It's not all that high mileage but it is not holding up well at all. We've had cars that we put way more miles on that were in much better shape. DH just put all sorts of money and time into it, fixing several issues (we can't afford to replace it). Yesterday afternoon it decided it would like a new starter, so that quit.

Did I mention I'm done???!!!!!

Ugh.....I'd like to push it off the bridge into the river......

So DH was able to fix the starter himself (well, it's in process, not quite done). That saves big bucks in labor cost. But, really, could we please be done now for a good long while????!!!!! I've got to find something fun and inexpensive for us to do after Christmas, just the two of us. That poor man hasn't done anything but work on something in I don't know how long. Come to think of it, there's an Irish pub we've been wanting to go to; maybe that and a movie. That's a nice evening out.
