I can see DH and I doing F&W someday. I'd love to experience it. I'm curious, in any of your trips yet, have you noticed/heard people making comments about the Magic Bands? (as in maybe day-guests or others who don't know about them and/or can't get one yet). I'm wondering if it's going to create a rift -- like the "haves" and "have-nots" -- as they roll them out a little at a time. .

I don't think enough people have the bands yet for others to really notice. I heard one person mention to someone else in line my bands and how we must be trying them out. So that had to be a person that knew what was going on. It is still only certain resorts trying them out, not all. From my talks with CM's, it is still very much a work in progress and not ready for a full roll out. But close!

So far, yes. There's a lot of debate over how that will play out in the future (i.e. offering them to everyone but day- and off-site-guests have to pay?). It seems like something that really only benefits on-site guests. If you are off-site (regardless of how many days) you don't need a room key or charging privileges, y'know? Where it gets sticky, though, is when you start talking Fastpasses.

Good morning. Happy Friday. I worked this morning and go back later until around 6pm.

I had an ultrasound on my side around my ovary yesterday. Waiting for results. Between my side and my back, I've had too much pain lately. Driving is a killer.

what are they made out of? they look like they would be hot or maybe sweaty. ..oh.. and what about a tan line?? they must leave tan lines..

Not really sweaty. You can keep the band loose or tight. Not sure about the tan line issue, I wasn't out long enough for that to be a worry.

It's much wider than I imagined and it does look like material that would be sweaty. There are plenty of people who would not appreciate a thick tan line. My daughter would be one of them. Maybe the pic makes it look bigger than it is. Oh and I want purple.

Sadly, no purple. That's what I wanted.

Mean Queen -- I'm curious, as an AP holder and someone who visits frequently, do you keep the same band (not "forever" per se, but for as long as it lasts)?

Bummer there was no purple. That's what I was going to get. But I guess since I plan on getting the Haunted Mansion wallpaper sleeve for mine, it really doesn't matter what color I end up with!

Mornin' nanners! Yes I'm up early on this lovely Saturday. No real plans for today, but I've got quite a to-do list for around the house. Tomorrow's the long-awaited half-marathon! I'm not really nervous; my goal is simply to finish. Weather looks ok, overcast and cool, which is perfect. Tomorrow is also middle son's b-day -- 14!! Man are they growing up fast..... DH is taking him out today for bike parts and a few tools. I'm making him a chocolate cake.
