So, ladies, I ran and completed my first half marathon today. Last week, my friend and I did the course in 3:30:00. My goal today was 3:20:00. I finished at 3:03:08.

Thanks, ya'll. I planned at first to just walk it because the farthest I've run is 7 miles.

Well, no longer. Farthest is now 13.75 (apparently I weave a lot!)

Do you any of you WDW experts know how often the ADR system is refreshed? I'm trying to see if I can get a ressie for an alternate day for my trip, and I don't know if it's worth checking throughout the day (hoping a cancellation opens up a spot) or if they only refresh once, like at midnight, so I only need to check every morning?

Hmmm. I always assumed it went directly back in, after all, you can't rebook a reservation that you've already picked up. In other words, if Kona Cafe has availability at 5:00pm, then two people can't book that.

So. Tired. of Packing.... I've gotten a lot done, and I'm feeling good about what's left for this upcoming week. But will be SO glad when it's over!! Unpacking you can just do as you feel like it, once the essentials are taken care of.

Tomorrow I've got to be up around 5:30 to get ready for work because starting at 6am, we'll have no water for the day. Town is flushing the lines or some such thing. I don't know who the brain was behind setting 6am as the start time.....that's when most people I know are just getting up and going!! Everyone's got to shower tonight, we'll have to fill the tub so we can "flush" the toilet when needed via bucket, and I'm making sure there's drinking water in the fridge and in the coffee maker before I go to bed!

Ugh.....

.BUT!!!.....four weeks from right now I'll be at my dad's in Florida!

Keep reminding yourself.....Florida soon

Ahhh! It's so nice to have a place to go that is politics free. We all may be on various ends of the spectrum, but we can all agree on Disney. I want to live in a big happy Disney bubble. Our only arguments would be over which way to go first when you get to MK.
