Dancing Babnanas 10!!!....Some bacon, a pole, and more udder nonsense

So, much to my surprise, DS10 has chosen DHS as his park of choice next month!! I was sure he'd go for the MK, given the quantity of rides. But no, he says there are more things at the Studios that he's never done before (true) and would like to go there.

I'm ok with this. I actually think the day may be a tad less frenetic with fewer things to try to fit in. It's going to be mobbed at any park, so we're going with that frame of mind and ready to just go with the flow. The only thing there I absolutely won't go on with him is Star Tours....:crazy2:. I'm considering doing RRC....But it'll depend how I feel that day. ToT I'll suck it up and go on again. The only time I've ridden that was before seat belts, with the lap bars. Lap bars + tiny people = true terror!! We've never seen the Lights, Motors, Action! stunt show. DS wants to do the Backlot Tour. We've never seen Fantasmic (showing the night we plan to be there), AND!....we get the Obsourne Family Spectacle of Lights!!! :thumbsup2 (another never-seen).

I'm really getting excited about this!!! OH! And we get to have a bite for breakfast at Starring Rolls. YUM-O!

----------------

ETA: Just made a lunch ADR for Sci-Fi Dine In!!! DS loved eating there on our last trip and didn't realize, until I just told him, that it was there in the Studios! Now's he's UBER-excited!!

.

Osbourne Lights is something I really want to see someday.

LM - great plan! Though Star Tours is such a fun ride. Do you get motion sick easy? I can see that being a good reason to skip. Going to see the Osbourne lights is reason enough. I always get so emotional walking around, seeing the lights, listening to the music, and feeling the fake snow fall.

I can't do Star Tours either. Makes me sick.

Yeah, it's the whole motion-simulator bit. I can ride roller coasters, I can watch movies (even 3D!). But if you try to combine the two in some way, shape or form, I'm done for.

I'm ALL about the Lights!! Can't wait to see that. I've also never seen Fantasmic. Any pointers on that one?....it's the only "fireworks" show with seating and I'm clueless on when to arrive, where to sit, etc..

.

I am the same way. I'll ride a roller coaster over a simulator any day. Warning: NEVER NEVER ride Simpsons at Universal if Star Tours bothers you. I have never been so sick in my life. It was terrible. I had to sit out of some fun stuff while I tried to piece myself back together. I have enough problems with my head feeling full and dizzy with my regular sinus issues......the Simpsons simulator tried to kill me.

SO wishing I was in Epcot today, strolling the World Showcase with a snack and adult beverage in hand!

Ahhh. . .That would be great!

I so did not know that waiting at the finish line for me at the Myrtle Beach mini next week will be beer.

It's making me want to run faster.

You're just making me jealous!

But what are you planning on doing? :hyper:

I want to book a night for DH and me at the Swan. We did the Party for the Senses a few years ago and I want to do it again. Pricey, but worth it to me.

:lmao:....you should get a new tag that says "Will run [faster] for beer!"

Osbourne Lights are on my to do list someday.

I love Star Tours and the Simpsons ride at Universal. I'll be doing both in just over a week!

I don't have issues with simulators or roller coasters, unless you flip me upside down. Then, I have an issue and you need new clothes.

Pool party!?!? When I got up yesterday morning, the bowl of dog water was frozen.
Yikes! So, I won't tell you that I was outside in shorts and a t-shirt in 75 degree weather this morning?

Me too! I'll think of you in just over a week when I'm strolling around the World Showcase with a snack and adult beverage in hand.

:lmao: Have a great race! And enjoy your post race beverage. Where in the MB area is the race?

Me too! I'm trying to book an adult only weekend at F&WF in a few weeks.
We're doing an adults only week at F&WF in just over a week. I can't wait!

We will probably go the first weekend in November because that's the next weekend we don't have something planned.

I guess that makes me part of the day shift. :rotfl:

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes

I wouldn't mind that as a tag at all!

It starts at the Coastal Grand Mall, goes around Broadway at the beach, through Myrtle Beach High School, and ends on the Boardwalk in Myrtle Beach.
Have a great race! It sounds like it's a good route too. I was in MB a month ago for a convention.:thumbsup2

Good morning, Smileybug! How are you doing? Is it starting to get a bit nippy in the mornings there? I saw a neighbor going for her morning walk and she's finally changed from shorts to long pants. :rolleyes1

It's 'Background Music Loop' day on Magical Mouse Radio on Live365.com. I feel like I'm touring the World. A good way to sweeten an otherwise rediculously busy day. :goodvibes

Happy Tuesday all!

Simpsons really is a great ride......if you can handle the simulator. Have a great trip.

I won't see 75 and shorts for a long time. Yikes, ferret emptying cupboard of snacks...need to go.

Happy Tuesday all!

I have got to check out live365 one day. Is there an app? I can't use the Internet for radio at work.
