Your kitchen looks great! I love the cabinets. Everything looks so much better.

And the Belle is a nice touch.

Ooooh!! The kitchen is looking GREAT!!!!! To actually get a visual of what MIL changed really makes you go "Hmmmmm". I wonder what she was thinking. :confused3

Congrats!!!! I know exactly what you mean about just standing and staring at it. It's a wonderful feeling isn't it??

Congratulations on your beautiful new kitchen!! :yay: I wish you many happy family memories there!

I had a complete kitchen re-do and when I first saw the cabinets going in I literally cried... it made the contractor really nervous... I had to reassure him that they were tears of joy!!

OK--I have to be admit that I clicked over because I was a little nosy about your TR title. ;) Then after reading your intro, I decided any woman who would post a picture of herself "pole dancing" with a carousel pony would have a TR that would be a riot to read! Can't wait! :)

Love your new kitchen--I can only imagine how happy you must be to have it put back together. It's not easy living in the middle of a remodeling project!

Your kitchen is beautiful! I can't imagine how pissed you were when you got home from Colorado!!

I think I am in love with your kitchen, too, Cherie! Those lights and countertops are just beautiful!!! :lovestruc
one of my favorite things is having enough room to decorate! Before I didn't have the space so now I feel the nee to go shopping!

So has MIL healed from the smackdown that you MUST have given her for changing your plans??? ;)

We are just finishing up our kitchen too, but we didn't redo the entire thing, just flooring and appliances, paint... all cosmetic stuff... We will do the whole thing when I talk Terry into moving the back wall of the entire house back about 5 feet... :rolleyes1
In her normal oblivion, MIL couldn't understand why I was so upset!

I like the idea of moving the wall back! I've wanted to do that here, but it wouldn't leave me very much back yard and I love to garden...my idea is to add a 3rd floor......but it will be at least 15 years before all the emotional wounds are healed from this re model.

The kitchen looks so nice!

I love those lights!
thanks! I've always loved Tiffany glass at first I wasn't going to get them because they were more than I wanted to spend, but D.Jay being the great husband he is put them in the cart and said I was getting them.
I can't wait for the chandelier to go up

Cherie, your kitchen looks gorgeous. I want to see the new Tai Pan plates!

I don't know how in the h e double hockey sticks I am going to keep up with your tr and Jordan's? :surfweb: Please do a table of contents....:flower3:
ooh, that's right! I'll get a picture up tomorrow, we used them for the first time tonight.

I'll try to figure out the table of contents:thumbsup2

The new kitchen is beautiful!! I would have freaked out if I am home and everything was in the wrong place, wow that would have made me a wreck. It is so nice to see that it turned out great.
I wasn't a happy camper!

The kitchen looks GREAT!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see the finished product.
I agree! I'm so happy I could kids the contractors!

Only 1 question.

:lmao::lmao:
maybe there will have to be some renovations in the bedroom
;)
Your kitchen looks beautiful!
thank you! I've never spent so much time admiring a kitchen before.

And the Belle is a nice touch.
I have a small collection of Belle's that dh have given me that will go up there

What a beautiful kitchen. When are we all invited for dinner?
any time!

I gave up trying to figure out the workings of her mind a long time ago!

The kitchen is looking great! Congratulations!

:yay: for real dinners!
I think the kids almost cried when they got a real meal tonight on actual plates not made of paper!

:rotfl2: I'm glad you didn't run away after seeing the pictures! I'm not sure what it says about me that I've posted those, twice!

I don't think pissed even comes close to my feelings that day!

I love the new kitchen !!We have a new floor and should soon be painted !! Trouble is by time I get pix posted it will be OLD!!!:rotfl2:

Picking jaw up off floor now! I, too, think I"m in love, and am thinking that a Meet at YOUR place would be fun. Just think of all the yummy things we could cook up. Then when we're done scarfing we could go cow tipping or cruise the main drag, or do doughnuts in someone's wheat field. :lmao:

My Stepmother is only like 10 years older than I am, and she used to take me toilet papering, we also used to "fork" people's yards...

She used to love to prank call my Dad while he was working too... And do the ding dong ditch to her Dad...

sadly, with caller id crank calling is no longer an option..

as for ding dong ditching..my thunder thighs would make too much noise when I tried to run away!

sounds like fun! I remember forking people too, I guess that's what happens when you live in the boonies. We used to take the police baricades, with the flashing yellow light on top, and put them on people's door steps. We thought it was the most hilarious thing ever. I spent a good part of my youth hiding in ditches and mice infested barns from the sheriff.:rotfl:

Yeah, I can't even get away with it using Skype!! Cynthia knows me everytime. :lmao:

Thighs... :lmao: Between thighs and arm flab, it might set off some local seismographs.

It was fun, until I became more mature than she was... :lmao: I swear, I think her and her friends still do this stuff once in a while... She still loves to "pants" my Dad when he is cooking... Which would be fine, if none of us kids were there when she did it...
