Dancing around the world~One pole at a time~~~Return of the prodigal trip reporter...

That's too funny!! Does he play along?? I think if I did that to my DH, it'd shock the rest of his clothes off, and then...:rolleyes1
:rotfl2:

Then Peepfest could get really fun!!!
I wasn't laughing when I woke up in the girls cabin.;)

or the time they move my mattress under the bunk bed and kept on sounding a horn and I would hit my head and then fall back asleep.
:lmao::lmao::lmao:

my brother woke up to his eyebrows shaved off and replaced by a sharpie...how you sleep through that I don.....of yeah, I'm pretty sure he was drunk.

He is actually not amused at all... Which makes it way funnier... :rotfl: And he madder he gets, the more she does it...
she makes us look down right mature and boring:laughing:

These were church kids....they have the best pranks....Flour was a favorite.
:rotfl:
:rotfl2:

Okay you guys are the best... I have been dealing with bronchitis and on meds, trying to hack up the lovely flem, and you guys are making me laugh so hard I am getting it all up... I know gross, but I am so grateful!!!
who needs mucinex when you've got the dis?:thumbsup2
I can now add "expectorant" to my resume

Oh Yes they do !!:lmao: Some counsellors are BAD too !!! Like the one who accidently rolles over on his keychain that omitted a strange sound that was deemed by another counsellor as " Aracoon in the Cornfield " It was soooo much fun he did it again and again !!! He got a HUGE kick outta her flipping out about Racoons :lmao:
:rotfl2:
Hey there... I had to come check this out cause my wife is hyperventilating over here... I will have to follow along now... This is going to get good... If I fly my wife up to you, will you give her pole dancing lessons? popcorn::
sure, but we'll have to find a new pole first!

Cherie didn't mention the carnage of that poor carousel horse afterwards. Needless to say, that horse had one front leg left and absolutely no rear end to speak of.
thanks.....we can't have any one thinking I didn't demolish the thing..

Hey you Oregonians got all sucked in here!! Sucked in so hard you coughed out! :lmao:

Hope in the next year, we can meet up in person!! I'll be in Portland in October... and a meet is in the works. :yay:Where are you guys?
:rotfl2:

We are only an hour south of Portland... Get a hold of us closer and we can surely set something up...

are you near Albany? I'll be driving through there in August to visit family

Good Morning All !!! Cherie you note it was not me who told about the demise of the "POLE"!!!! Let's add SNITCH to his nicknames:rotfl2: Did you have the pix of you on the Harley to add to my thread ??:worship:

It was a realy realy old kitchen with pretty old appliances. I find myself standing in the kitchen and just staring. I do believe I'm in love.

WOW your kitchen is gorgeous!!! And you really deserve it after all that headache!!! ;) You must have the patience of a saint!! :worship:

I'm glad I could be a crowd breaker for you. It was nice meeting you, and what you don't know can't kill you...:rolleyes1 Or can it???:scared1:

:thumbsup2 I really enjoyed talking with you while we waited for rope drop!!

Looks like you guys had a party here last night! The kitchen looks GREAT and I love your new light fixture!

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy for you!!!

I swear, until you have a truly functioning kitchen you don't realize how bad it was before. You think you know and then it's like...WHOA!

I still stand in my kitchen and stare and it's been 5 years!

It will change your life.

Okay I just have to say, that after hacking up my lungs last night laughing... I slept WAY better than I have in days!! You guys are better then cough syrup with codeine!!! :thumbsup2 I am breathing much better this morning also!!

Maybe I shouldn't be saying this... If Terry knows I am feeling any better, he will make me do laundry...

The kitchen looks amazing! Can't wait to see it totally finished!

And can't wait to hear more about this trip. :D

Your new kitchen looks great, I'm so jealous! I live in a tiny little condo that my husband and I bought years ago before kids and the kitchen is pathetic. I can't wait until the day we buy a house and I have a "REAL" kitchen.

I'm looking forward to reading about your TR.... popcorn::

today they're working on the tile, so I'm kinda lost now without my kitchen to stare at.:rotfl: so today, we're going to look for a new table.

We are actually... We live in South Salem... So only like 15 to 20 away from Albany...
cool! I'll let you know when we're driving through

we've been married 17 years and this is the first time I've had a nice kitchen and NEW appliances!

I read your trip report that your MIL went on with yall. I don't think I ever commented so I thought I would start here. Great report so far!

:surfweb: Okay, that didn't take me too long.

I love a good before and after! Your new kitchen looks fantastic! Was that a princess I spied in one of the cabintets?

The title of this thread caught my attention... hehe. Too many trip reports with so much info. How do you all do it?

Life had been very stressful leading up to our departure. Between starting college and a major house remodel, I NEEDED a break.

This trip was also a celebration of D.Jay's college graduation. He had spent the past 2 1/2 years working full time, going to college full time and working a part time job. I never could have lived off of the amount of sleep he usualy had. It was a tough 2 years for the family. D.Jay has always been an awesome Dad and very involved in the kids life, so it was hard on them to not see him very much.

He would go to work around 10 p.m. , head to school at 8 a.m. and then come home to sleep around 4, if he wasn't needed at his part time job. He would come home and go to bed for 5 hours if he was lucky. I spent many evenings reading trip reports on the dis , laughing hystericaly while trying to be quiet. I'm afraid he lost some sleep to my laughter.

We both couldn't wait to go and relax...silly thought since we never have relaxed on a disney vacation! In fact I usualy come home feeling like I need a vacation to recover from the vacation.

Our kids were pretty good about us going without them. Of course there was the "you're the meanest parents alive" comments but usualy said in a joke. the only one I was realy worried about was Ethan. He cries when we all leave the dogs home for a week!

I was more nervous than usual because this time Evan our 16 yr old was in charge and driving! I worry because I remember my driving skills at that age. But I knew he could handle the responsiblity. When it was time for us to leave poor Ethan looked like we were never comming back....funny ow kids know how to make you feel like the worst mom on earth...EVER!
After kisses and hugs we left the driveway with Hunter and Ethan standing on the front porch looking like 2 lost puppies.

I think I shed 2 tears and then this feeling of total relief and excitment hit! I was on my way to Disney World!!

We spent the night near the airport, which is 2 hours away and we had a 6 a.m. flight. As usual, I was up all night too excited to sleep and too worried about not waking up in time.

our first flight was to Denver, the plane was only about half full so we had a row to ourselves. After a 3 hour layover in Denver we boarded for a 4 hour flight to MCO. This plane was full but being southwest we were able to pick our seats. things were good untill we were joined by another traveler.

The guy wasn't huge, but pretty big and quite broad through the shoulders. He also seemed to have forgotten his deodorant that morning.:sad2: As soon as the plane was up in the air, he began to snore LOUDLY. the poor guy must have sleep apnea because after a few minutes of sawing logs he would snort , look around and then continue with his sawing.

D.Jay just looked at me and we laughed. I think I giggled every time the guy did it. This went on untill about an hour out of Orlando, when he decided to watch a dvd on his laptop. I couldn't realy see the screen but d.jay said it wasn't something you should be watching in public.:scared1:

We arrived at POP around 8 p.m.. We checked in and grabbed some dinner from the food court. I was exhausted from not sleeping the night before.
I was still pinching myself because I couldn't believe we were there.

up next......a new type of touring

That would be me the guy snoring next to you. I hate flying and pretty much all other forms of travel except horseback. I too went through Denver DIA and found it a jumbled mess of an airport. I tried to eat a place called Wolfgang Puck's Express but got so confused I had to abaondon my tray of food near the pop machine. Ended up at a place called Steak Escape much more my type of food.

That's a long flight from Denver DIA to Orlando MCO!!

This reminds me of a guy I sat next to on a flight home from SLC once, the guy next to me watched Striptease... Without headphones too, and had a child seated next to him!! The father of that child quickly switched seats with the child once he realized what was going on!

:confused3

We didn't find many places to eat near our gate, so we settled on some sort of steak and burger place. Not the best but it beat a bag of chips and a pop. Plus it helped us kill time.

Well, at least he was using ear phones:rolleyes:
If my kids had been there, I would have politely asked him to turn it off or change dvd's. sometimes I'm amazed by people who are so oblivious:sad2:
