Dancing around the world~One pole at a time~~~Return of the prodigal trip reporter...

exactly!
I have a problem any time I walk next to someone constantly bumping into them.

See I just tell my kids they aren't walking straight...it's all THEIR fault...not me who can't walk like a normal person at any given moment.

so is jordans rating of the soup some how tied into the part of a woman.
:sad2:
you'd have to ask him......it was hilarious at the time!

It's so much fun to read about the same story from so many differenent perspectives. :rotfl:
yeah, everyone remembers different parts...usually everyone elses embarassing moments.

See I just tell my kids they aren't walking straight...it's all THEIR fault...not me who can't walk like a normal person at any given moment.

I've tried that but they don't fall for it.....

Well, things have been crazy here this week! Tuesday morning D.Jay's uncle passed away. So, we are preparing to have his Dad and step mom, brother & sister in law, sister, and another brother and his girlfriend, ALL at our house!:scared1:

Normally, it wouldn't faze me one bit, but with the house being a construction zone the past 5 months things aren't as clean as I like it to be. Everything that had to move from the kitchen or dinning room or living room and couldn't be put somewhere else , is now in my bedroom. Which is where is Dad and mom are going to sleep.

I've been a little busy cleaning and stressing inbetween the normal rush of taxing kids around. Red bull has become my friend.;)

I am really happy to have them all here because we rarely get to visit them..it was 10 years in between our last visits with his parents.

any ways.....I'll be on sporadically...I don't think hiding in the bathroom to dis will work because we're going to have 13 people with 1 bathroom.

Sorry for your family's loss. And, oh my that's a lot of house guests :scared1:

Sorry for your loss. I know it's a sad time but I'm glad you're getting a chance to see family. Enjoy them while you can.

WOW that is a lot of house guests.

I'd be a stress case and my house is not a construction zone, I just hate to clean. Deep clean at any rate. I'm big on surface clean...it's all about the presentation you know. Just don't look too close. :rotfl:

I am so sorry for your (d.jay's) loss but hope that the blessing of seeing family eases it. 10 years is a long time! :grouphug:

I'm glad finals are over for you at least.

Having just gone through 3 too many family members moving on, I know how much losing a family member can cause stress and grief in a family. Having others come alongside is a good thing. Enjoy it as best you can in your home-may it be a blesssing to them while they are there. They won't notice what's not perfect!

Hi Cherie!

I'm finally all caught up with your TR! Sorry to hear about D.Jay's uncle! I can't believe you are going to have that many people in your house! We have kind of the same issue in my family...we never really see each other unless someone passes away. It's sad, but true.

I'm enjoying your TR so far! Your flashback to your first cab ride was scary! I was terrified for you, if it makes you feel any better. Ironically, the first time I ever took a cab was ALSO in Disney World...it was September 2002 and there were 4 of us so one of us had to sit in the front with the driver. I was the lucky one. And of course, this was only a year after 9/11, our driver was middle-eastern, his name was Hash, and he kept talking about the attacks and how God would help us all to heal....he had pictures of Jesus on his dashboard... it was scary. I know that he was just trying to make us feel better but he was having the opposite effect. Thankfully, DTD was not far from our hotel. We actually WALKED back that night to avoid taking another cab. It was about 3 miles. When I went back in 2005, we stayed off site again and took ANOTHER cab to DTD, only this time, we noticed that the ride was exceptionally long...and it cost us $50 EACH WAY. We didn't know how screwed we got until we started staying on property. :sad2: So now, even though it's a total pain in the butt, I take Disney transportation everywhere. If we have to take 2 buses and a monorail, that's what we do. And it's actually helped me to learn to relax a little bit. I don't RUSH to get anywhere now.

Anyhoo.... can't wait for the next update!

That Tonga toast just looks too good!!! We are going to eat breakfast there in June. I can't stand it anymore. I've got to have some!! But i do agree that the strawberry stuff looks puky!

At first I thought he was in the trunk! :rotfl2:

We had such a good time at Dinner! I think that was a good "ice breaker" time with all of us together at once. It was fun!

So sorry to DJay about his uncle!! Sending prayers to the family.
WOW what a housefull you have!! :scared1:

The strawberry stuff is was actually REALLY good...although it is VERY sweet, so for anyone who thought that the Tonga Toast was sweet without the strawberries, I don't recommend it. The Tonga Toast is like my perfect breakfast though and I loved it....of course, I'm also the girl that takes a little bit of coffee with her sugar.

Great pix!

I can't remember what the chest and hand cupping was about.....:confused3

Was that one picture of me standing in line for my pastry....?
