Who sang that song? Anyways, doin' the single digit dance now. Anyone else? I hate to admit it, but to me, Christmas is just another day closer to my trip to WDW!

Yeah, this year the holidays are just getting in the way of my Disney Mood. I have a hard time trusting a 15 day weather forecast, but AccuWeather is predicting 70's from 1/1 thru 1/5.

I hear you. That is how I have been counting down for this trip. Counting days was too depressing. So, I decided to count holidays instead. I guess that means I have only "ONE MORE DAY" left.

This trip and holiday season just became extra special for our family. My wife informed me that she is expecting our second child. I need to think of something to do for her during our trip. Any ideas?

This is definitely a Magical time of year.

MERRY CHRISTMAS,
Bruce ::MickeyMo :cloud9:

I am so with you on this one. I am practically wishing Xmas away. BCVBruce, congratulations to you and yours. Here is what I would have liked as a treat (being a mother of 3):
-a spa treatment. Not massages because the oils they use can be harmful in early pregnancy. maybe a manicure/ pedicure/ facial.
-jewellry or momento of the Mickey kind. They have beautiful crystal castles etc. Or design your own pin when you get there to say thankyou/ you're wonderful.
-a child-free dinner with her favourite foods. Check if DW is feeling queasy as the last thing she may want is to be in a restaurant smelling of fish, for example.
-be understanding that DW can't go on everything and take it at her pace without any guilt on your part. SIMPLE BUT SO EFFECTIVE!
-Fireworks cruise
-Special dessert from GF bakery eg. cinderella slipper.

If I think of any more, I'll come back. Congratulations and much pixie dust,
Claire

I'm doing the single digit dance too!! I'm looking forward to Christmas, but only because it's the day we leave on our trip! Woohoo!!!

I have to admit I'm a little freaked about the crowds, though. We've been plenty of times before, but my kids are thrill seekers who HAVE to ride the big ones! Oh well! We'll be singing...

Disney...fa-la-la-la-la, La-la-la-la!!! :cool1:

Kim  :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Doin the Disney Shuffle!!!!!!!! Can't wait to get there!!!!!! :cool1: :cool1: :flower: :flower: Hope to see some of you there...

Yikes - The Little River Band. That was a few years ago, maybe 1979? I was....a lot younger then!

Can't wait till 1/2!!!

Hey Dorothy & Bill - what do you think of the new MYW tickets? It actually works out pretty good for us this trip. My only decision is whether to get a 10 day with no expiration to use on our next trip, or just get the 6 day.

Who sang that song?

Donna Summer??? "Dance with meeee, dance with meeee, dance with me...yeaaaahhhh" :cool1:

Simba's Mom, we must be on the same wavelength. We keep visiting at the same time! Maybe we'll run into you there, if not here in Harlingen.

Have a great trip!

JJ721,

I got the Fun in the Sun passes so I haven't had to delve into the new ticketing scheme yet. Our itinerary is the same as I mentioned before, 1/1 in Epcot and the ESPN Club then the EMH park of the day every morning thereafter with hop to Epcot about 1 - 1:30 daily. Give me a call if you get the chance to hoist up a few some afternoon. We'll also be doing Jellyrolls and PI several times.

Bill from PA:
We should have our plans firmed up next week. I'll call you, although 1/4 in the afternoon still looks good to me to get together.

Simba's Mom: I will pm you next week!

Claire,

Thanks for the suggestions. I went with a massage for expectant mothers.

Have Fun,
