Dance team trip...meal coupons...upgrade?

Cant the meal coupons plan that comes with this package be upgrade tothe regular dining plan?

No, you can only buy the dining plan with the purchase of a standard Disney resort package - room, full price ticket(s) and the dining plan. I assume your sporting event doesn't meet those requirements.

No. Group reservations are not eligible for the dining plans, which are available only with a regular package reservation. Meal tickets provided with those reservations have nothing to do with the dining plan program and cannot be used to acquire a dining plan.

Thanks friends got roped into this trip and have preaty much been lied to about most of the trip she had told every one they were getting the meal plan and they made reservations for dinner every night they are supposed to get all of there meal tickets and magical express tagstonite so well see what really happens.......

It's possible they booked a regular package, but they likely didn't do so as part of a group discounted booking.

Also, be aware that the vouchers you get for your meals (it will not be on your room keys) state which restaurants they are valid for. It is an abbreviated list; not including some that are on the regular dining plan.
