dance party help?

So my boyfriend's best friend and cousin are having there Sweet 16 together at the end of March. Its a dance, and dressy.. not gowns but like short cocktail dresses. Anyways, back on subject.. Garrett as he says "does not dance". He'll slow dance I know that, but I don't think he'll actually get out there and dance with me. I love dancing, so I definitely want to be out there with everyone. But one problem, I don't really talk to anyone there except his group of friends, and his two girl-friends. I use to go to school with every one there until 5th grade, so they have all changed (big time). And I don't talk to most of them. So chances are I won't dance either, except with the girls.. but I want to dance with him. Any idea's on how to maybe get him out there on the dance floor to have a good time?

Forcing him is the last time I'll do. I would never make him do something he's not comfortable doing. I just want him to have a good time. I think if he gets out there he'll realize how much fun it is.
