Good. I couldn't stand that show. I watched a total of one and a half episodes and was done.

I'm surprised Dance Moms went more hard and edgy this year given that Dance Moms Miami, which was supposed to be the hard and edgy version of Dance moms flopped.

You know I liked Angel and Victor a lot. They were nice and caring towards their students, they didn't yell and belittle them. Sometimes I thought Victor's coreography was a little out there. But as for the moms, they may have been worse than Abby's moms with the constantly having their kids compete against each other. And I don't think the dancers had more talent than the dancers at Abby Lee's.

Also, it really was nice to see Maddy have a sweet smile for her performance. However, whoever filmed it was awful- I've seen better videography from amateurs on YouTube.

Why can't I quit you, Dance Moms?

I was happy to see a bit less drama this episode. I was unhappy to see the bad acting from the little drama that I believe was producer manufactured. I am specifically talking about the scene where Jill decided it was necessary to take her child (complete with shovel and hard hat!) to the bathroom with her, and then Holly being sent to fetch her. Please.

I agree they just had to throw that in there it could not be peaceful

I love the show. Tuesday's episode had them competing in a neighboring town from where I live, Bernardsville NJ. It was neat to see a local connection there!

What had me cracking up was that no one told Abby how to pronounce Bernardsville. Abby pronounced it like the male name "Bernard" with an s on the end, then the word "ville". Anyone local knows it's actually pronounced more like "Berners" plus the word "ville". Argggg!

And it was very funny when Abby said Bernardsville is "this close" to NYC - Bernardsville is a nice smallish town, absolutely nothing like the vibe of NYC. Putting Bernardsville way up high there, Abby!

And I agree on the contrived situation of Kendal getting private lessons in the hall and Holly being sent to "find them" - that was very obviously staged. Just a little tooo scripted!

The team competed in Florida and had a pool party at Abby's home there. Was that competition in Orlando? I don't remember. It may have been shown on the first season.

The whole "team" mentality in dance is kind of ridiculous. Let's be honest. In reality, dance is an individual sport or art. Everyone is really out for themselves. Yes, kids need to learn to work as a team. But a dancer should not be limited to how much personal growth she will have because she will leave the other team members behind. No one should be mad at Jill or Melissa for getting their kids private lessons. If the other mothers wanted their kids to get better, they would pay for private lessons too. In the end, the team isn't getting a job on Broadway, 1 dancer is.

Did anyone notice when they announced I think it was first runner up against Maddie it was "lucas", I think it may have been Lucas from dance mom's miami, I couldn't see the face well. .

Yes it was Lucas. We even rewound the dvr to double check. Then my DD noticed his Mom was sitting behind Abby and all the other dance mom's. Couldn't miss the blonde hair once you knew she was there.

Who do you dislike more, Asia or her mother? I'm certain this is all to create more drama. Week after week of the moms fighting with Abby and the girls competing against each other for solos and places on the pyramid is getting old. Asia is a great performer, but her technique stinks. She would never be eligible for Abby's team otherwise. Reality tv - no way.
