53 days until we leave!!!!​

I am so excited! I can't believe only 53 days! Feels like forever and then I have to admit I love the anticipation!

I made all our FP+ selections on Friday at midnight. I was about a half hour in when it stopped letting me make my choices for myself, kept on saying I was at my limit but it would let me continue to make them for my DD. I panicked. I wanted to scream! I wanted to wake up my husband but he would think I'm nuts so I very calmly finished doing the selections for DD and then tried to sleep. My mind was racing, my heart was beating fast. I needed to get that Anna and Elsa time! I woke up bright and early and called Disney and they said one of my tickets wasn't registered to my name! But they were able to take the ticket off then put it back on. I asked if they could just add me to my DD's fast pass and he said yeah....not sure about Anna and Elsa. I was going to freak out! But he was able to add me. Phew....crisis averted.

Then, my dad had Easter dinner at the California Grill. I made him take pictures of everyone's food and send them to me LOL. He enjoyed it so much he said to make a reservation for my trip and he will treat us to dinner! My dad doesn't quite understand it's not so easy to just make a reservation 50 something days out...for June...but I was able to get one for the night before we leave. Very excited. I always wanted to eat there but it's not really DH's type of place. Can't wait to try it!

27 days!!!​

It's so close! I can't believe it!! I really hope the time goes by fast. Luckily I am pretty busy these next few weeks. Dance recitals, practices, birthday parties.

My daughter is auditioning for a performing arts school on Tuesday, if you can spare some prayers and pixie dust that she does a good job at her audition we would appreciate it!

19 DAYS!!​

Today my friends came over and we made some shirts for our trip. So much fun! Here are some of our creations:

2 weeks!!​

Oh my goodness I can't believe it's 2 weeks!!

Today I made a few more shirts and emptied our suit cases that have been packed for almost a year. I realized that I packed 25 shirts for my daughter and she only had 2 pairs of shorts! How did I do that? I got so into making shirts and buying Disney shirts that I forgot about the shorts! So I ordered a few pairs today, hopefully the come in time.

So in the past few weeks, my daughter had auditioned for a performing arts school. We got the letter yesterday and she was waitlisted. I have to admit I am so sad. The letter said an opening may happen so who knows. If you could spare some prayers and pixie dust I would appreciate it.

This week my daughter has one last class, 2 rehearsals and then her recital on Saturday! I love recital day, makes all the running around and the hours spent at the studio worth it.

Looks like I am solo on the PTR.....but I am going to update for myself then.

Last week was Natalie's recital and it was really good. I really love recital time, one of my favorite times of the year! She was in 9 dances and she just amazed me after each one!

A few weeks ago she auditioned (like she does every year) for the school's dance company. It's been agonizing waiting for where she was going to be placed but she was moved up a rank to Senior B! So happy for her!

Monday night was a Disney practice and in the middle of it I get a phone call from my dad. He is in the hospital and his wife was also in the hospital for collapsing and not breathing! So I immediately called Disney and Amtrak and changed my reservations so I could get down there sooner. 3 nights at Saratoga Springs! Is it bad to feel excited? My dad called today and he is home, doing better and his wife is still in the hospital. We leave bright and early tomorrow!

Car is packed, I think I have everything, thanks to everyone who followed along on this journey! Hope to do a trip report!
