Dance moms to invade Disney World! June '14 PTR!

Thanks for the idea! I will see if we have any photographer parents that could help. I love to take pictures but my recital pictures are always terrible.

I have thought of a great way to get money, I need to stop buying chai tea lattes from Starbucks! LOL! I am there way too many times a week. Not only Starbucks but anywhere that sells them!

Anyone addicted to TV like me? Nat and I are watching Castle right now, one of our favs! Dr's appt tomorrow, we are staying up late.

We are going as well in fact our down payment is due tomorrow. My daughters dance studio is offering this to the Pom Competition girls. Through Dance the World. I have many questions if anyone has been through this with Dance the World before would love to hear from you!

We are scheduled to dance June 29-July 2 2014. We are extending our stay and arriving June 28-July 5. We are staying at Caribbean Beach Resort. We have done Disney and enjoyed planning the trips so much. My questions are when traveling with a large group how do you go about personalizing your trip and adding ADR's etc. Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Do you have Costco???? I buy 3 cartons of the Tazo Chai Tea mix for about 7.50....It makes about 9 Venti and you can add as much chai and milk as you want.....so worth the cost co membership as I had the same problems. Maybe I need to buy some and send it to you. That still might be cheaper than going all the time. Crazy right???

We love love Castle in our house as well...we are Tv junkies so we also watch BOnes, New Girl, Big Bang and more. very fun/

Do you have Costco???? We don't have a Costco here. We have a Sam's Club and a BJ's Wholesale. I never thought about looking at Sam's. I know I have seen the Starbucks carton at Target and our local supermarket. I picked one up but it wasn't as strong. I should really suck it up to save the money but they are just so darn good!

We love Bones and New Girl too! We have a schedule, Mondays it's DWTS, Sleepy Hollow and Castle, Tuesday it's Dance Mom's or Abby's Ultimate Dance, our new favorite Shield, Pretty Little Liars and Rizzoli and Isles, Wed it's Modern Family, Thurs Vampire Diaries and the Originals, Friday we catch up on things we DVR because there is so much on TV!! I also watch the Housewives of NJ and BH. I'm sure I am missing a bunch. My DVR is always filled.

I was so happy this week was over. It was a very busy week. Besides dance 5 nights this week, Natalie had an Orthodontist appt and I worked our church's Oktoberfest tonight. I am so exhausted.

Does anyone's child have braces? Nat has to get a pallet expander and teeth pulled. She will have the expander on for 9 months before getting braces on and it will be top and bottom expander on at the same time. Her teeth are not coming down right at all. I was so lucky with my oldest, perfectly straight teeth but wow am I paying for it with Natalie. I was a bit in shock at my down payment but they needed to start right away because she has some adult teeth that can't come down because there is no room in her mouth and the teeth are starting to turn sideways up in the gum. She has adult teeth coming in over baby teeth. Her baby teeth are very far behind in coming out but the lady we had explaining this all too us said to Natalie that it's ok, she's perfectly Natalie, which I thought was very sweet. So she had spacers put in, next week we go for bigger spacers and then the expander.
Also, ever since those spacers went in, she has been having nose bleeds. She does get them when the weather changes but I just thought it was odd that they are happening so frequently. Has this every happened to anyone?

I hope you all had a good week. On my day off this week, I will post all the places we want to eat, my favorite part!!!

Dance the World is the name of the organization that arranges for the girls to dance in the Parade and Hollywood studios. They book our rooms and Park Hoppers. We book our own flights (from Minnesota). My question is has any one booked through a group like this before and how if I didn't make my own reservation do I book ADR's etc?

Thanks for following along!!!! This is my daughter's second year in Company and she has really blossomed as a dancer in this school. She started dancing when she was 2 and we have been to 3 different schools before finding her current school. The first one went out of business and then a mom from that school opened up one but I just didn't feel like she was progressing. We then went to a different school that was a ways away. We really liked it but it was a bit too far. Then this school opened and she took some summer classes with them and she loved it! She auditioned for company and you know the rest

Natalie isn't feeling well today so we stayed home from dance. So we are watching Rapunzel and she is showing me how to make a bracelet on the Rainbow Loom. Anyone else's daughter crazy for this? She loves it. I have rubber bands and bracelets all over the house. The girls even bring the looms to dance and make stuff in between classes.

So where did I leave off?

Our first day...​

We will already be at my dad's house and check in is at 4:00. I plan to arrive a bit earlier just to feel the magic and I will be too excited to sit at my dad's for very long. I'm not sure if we will go to a park or just explore our resort. I do know where we will eat though...

I know it doesn't get good reviews but we really enjoyed it while we were there. The food tasted good, fresh, hot and the atmosphere was fun! I thought all the options were great. My daughter isn't a picky eater and I do not eat land animals and we found a lot here to enjoy! I was thinking a 6:00 ADR.

If we don't go to a park, we will probably go to Downtown Disney and shop! I really love Vera Bradley so I want to pick up one of those and I also love the Alex and Ani bracelets, want to get a few of those. I already have the castle one, I need all the others.

My dd and ds are obsessed! My older two kids play travel LAX and travel soccer so we spend a lot of time in hotels and fields... This has been a lifesaver!!
I think we have about 3000 bands at this point and 3 looms... She spends a lot of time looking up youtube bracelet making videos learning to make the new styles. Our local toy store also has free classes...It reminds me of those potholders I use to make.

My daughter goes on Youtube too!! She even overheated the laptop one night because she had it on her bed and was watching videos and making bracelets! Why can't we think of these things? We would never have to worry about money for Disney again LOL.

I have news!!!! I just got a new job! For the past year and a half I have worked as a bank teller. I love the job, I LOVE the ladies I work with. They have become my family. But when I was hired I was getting 37 hours a week, which was good for me. I got a half day every week, it was perfect. Then I was changed to 32 hours....I could live with that and then I was cut to 29 hours which made my paycheck so small, I was just able to pay my little bills, dance tuition and save money for Disney. So I started to look for jobs and I applied to the county for a secretary position. I interviewed last week and got the call today that I was hired! It is full time and the pay is more! I'm very excited but so scared. I really love where I work but just have to keep thinking, more money = more Disney!!!
